These were purchased in Sacramento and the seller told me they had been salvaged from Mather Air Force Base. The amber globe is marked Crouse Hind VN76. However the second globe is a mystery- has no markings of any type. Both screw into standard porch light fixtures. Beautiful colors, heavy duty glass- quality pieces. Could be repurposed by the right person into a unique lamp. The amber piece retails for 60+ alone. The poles are in 4 sections 3 at 27' and one a 9' feet. 4- baskets with 12 lights are mounted to 14 feet long service decks. 1500 watt bulbs replaced two years ago. 48 lights total. The electrical was set up on 3 phase 480v. The lights work good and were last used in May of this year. They were just taken down a few weeks ago. They were used on a football field. The contractor cut a small hole near the bottom of the pole to help take them down. We can re-weld them or put a service cover over the spot. I have more photos and details if needed. Starting bid reduced 40% Very good vintage pair of Crouse-Hinds explosion proof light fixtures. Inside the fixture looks like VX8 10 3174-G? The small junction boxes read VXF 20. The glass is chip and crack free. The glass is 5 3/8" in diameter x 9" long. The glass screws in and out of the threaded fixture without any trouble. The small boxes are 4 1/2" across x 1 5/8" deep. Overall the fixtures are 12 1/2" long w/the glass screwed in. There is some old silicon caulk around parts of the fixtures. Each fixture w/ small box weighs about 6 pounds. Angled height as shown is 16” reaches 26” at straight up. Shade marked HUBBELL. Lamp has turn key on/off switch. Two bar wing-nuts at joints, but it is not necessary to loosen to change angle. Bottom thumbscrew has been replaced with a hex nut, still works fine. Lamp has long electric cord, in good condition, works well.
