This laser was pulled from a clean working environment and is in good working ... morecondition. The counter reads 6.795,404 and the flashlamp was last replaced at 4,361,537. The inside of the machine is very clean. There are four handpieces included and each one is in good working condition. There is one Cynosure 2.5mm handpiece, one Cynosure 5mm handpiece, one Deka 7mm handpiece, one Deka 10mm handpiece, and one 600um cable included. Each handpiece has a couple light scratches(on handle) from normal use, but overall are in good shape. There is also a Cynosure branded handle included. Each laser fits into this handle and it can also be hooked up to an exetrnal chiller(not included) There is a small piece of plastic that broke off of one corner of this handle, but this is merely cosmetic. The lasers still fit snugly into this handle like they always did. The main unit also has some light scratches on the casing form normal use, but overall is in good shape cosmetically. There are no scratches in the screen. There is a footpedal included(Square D model: XPE-M110) but it does not work at all. This is an optically contacted YVO4/KTP in a small aluminum mount. This means that there is no glue to burn up leaving the limit to power up to the thermal management system you design and the damage threshold of the coatings. It was for a very high power DPSS laser of up to 500mw CW. The crystal itself measures about 5mm and the pumped portion is 2mm in diameter. I tested it with an 808nm 2W laser diode and it lights up making a very bright green beam that made dark plastic smoke. This item is very hard to find. This is a flash lamp for a Hughes YAG laser rangefinder assembly. It is an exact replacement for the mechanically q-switched rangefinder with the spinning porror prism HR that was used in the late 80's just before the SSY-1 went into service in the 90's. The lamp has been tested to work fine and requires about 350V to fire. The lamp generates hard UV light that makes it necessary to shield it if you are going to use it for a strobe light. This is a resonator/crystal assembly for a 946nm Yag laser. The intra-cavity flux is available making it useful for Raman spectroscopy and such. It has the YVO4 optical crystals and the OC mirror. It needs to be pumped with a few watts to work. It makes about 50mw or so of output with 3 watts in. It comes on a nifty TEC cooled mounting with a thermistor feedback. Laser Photonics High Power Q-switched Nd:Yag Laser Burning Eye Surgery Module
This is a high powered q-switched Nd:Yag laser head. It was used in a laser that corrected glaucoma. In particular laser iridotomy. I tested this laser and it works fine. It needs about 600V and 30-100uf. It is internally triggered, so you will need to build a custom made flash lamp trigger/balance coil of 50 to 65 turns of copper wire(air core) with two turns of copper wire as the primary and a 0.1-3uf capacitor charged to 600V. I have a very nice 100uf 750V capacitor also listed that would work well with this unit. The laser outputs about 5mJ with 30uf at 650V. This item is pretty hard to find I have lots of lasers and other unique stuff for sale this week.

It runs at 5 Hz but can be adjusted to operate up to 9 Hz at a lower output(~0.5 J@ 532 nm) It produces a square pulse with under 200 psec rise time, a 3 nsec flat top and under 300 psec fall time. Coherent Passive Q switch Nd:Yag Laser Mirror Pump Diode Protection Plate Optic
This is a small protection optic for passively q-switched dpss lasers. It prevents backward going pulses from reaching the pump diode and blowing it up. These plates are used in several Coherent lasers as well as the JDS Uniphase MALDI tripled yag lasers. Melles Griot also uses similar optics on their blue 1W DPSS lasers. Coated HR1064/AR808 on one side. And AR808 on the other side. Dotted side faces the pump diode. The coating quality is good enough to use as a HR mirror also.
