Laser Photonics YQL-102+ Pulsed YAG Laser For sale- a Laser Photonics YOL-102+. Or maybe a YQL-102+? The label on the side of the power supply looks like YOL. But when I did a search of the internet I saw more listed as YQL, and since it is a pulsed laser perhaps the Q makes more sense. And the Sams laser website. Which I think is a reputable source of information, refers to it as the YQL-102, but that is a 102 not a 102+, and the 102 looks decidedly older than the 102+ I am offering here. I thought that perhaps I could actually fire this thing up since the PS only requires 110VAC. But I saw somewhere in my research that it needs deionized water as the coolant and I don’t know where I might get that nor do I know how you would go about refilling it. The first time I powered up the PS the hoses squirted water everywhere so the pump at least ... moreis working. I don’t like to run pumps dry so the picture of the PS with the POWER indicator light on was taken as soon as I switched it on and immediately powered off. As you can see the sale includes the cable that goes between the laser head and the PS and the coolant hoses. I have not attached the laser head to the PS and given the power output of the laser would be reluctant to do so. And I think these require some sort of trigger input and I know nothing about how to do that. So it is untested other than for power(and the pump) and NO warranty is offered. However. IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it. Returns are ONLY allowed on Buy It Now Purchases. High Power Coherent VLOC Mirror Coated Nd:Yag Laser Rod 50J Peak Energy Output
This is a Nd:Yag laser rod with mirror coated ends. The rod is about 1/4 inch diameter and 4 inches long It was originally part of a machine that welded electrodes inside vacuum tubes. It can produce pulsed energy up to 50J with powers peaking into the multiple tens of kilowatts. The OC end has slight damage from improper cleaning. But it does not significantly affect the use of this rod for a hobby laser. Mirror coated laser rods are extremely rare and hard to find. The laser rod needs a strong flash lamp to drive it since the dopant level is quite high. I had good luck firing the rod with the flash lamp in my other listing plus 1250V 250uF with 75 turns of 10 gauge wire as the smoothing choke/trigger transformer. The output of this rod makes those SSY-1 lasers look like a bug zapper compared to an arc welder. Where the SSY1 will flash and ... moresmoke stuff, this one will actually light the smoke on fire and burn all the way through electrical tape in one shot without focusing. 750W Coherent Nd:YAG laser system parts, build a YAG cutting / welding laser!
This auction is for an assortment of laser bits I've assembled over the years. It's enough to construct a 750W Nd:YAG laser. The cavity is originally one of four from a 3000W Coherent laser cutting/ welding system. I have one complete cavity. As well as some extra cavity pieces including one of the reflectors, and a variety of seals and such. There is one YAG rod and four arc lamps(the cavity uses 2 lamps, so 2 are extras) Additionally, I have both of the end reflectors from the original system- the mirrors are in good shape; note that the tale is not actually touching the optics, I just put it on the metal housing to keep dust out. I also have a remotely actuated and water-cooled beam dump, a very low percentage beam splitter with photodiode power detector, and 4 arc lamp power supplies(again, only 2 are needed for normal operation. ... moreEach supply is 208/220 3-phase at 30A input. In order to make this a complete laser. You'll need to supply deionized cooling water, and mount the optical components to a flat surface. I also have a large aluminum heatsink/ optical bench from another laser, it's about 4' long x 1' wide and as it was used for a laser before I assume it's relatively stiff and optically flat, though you would need to drill your own mounting holes, or you could presumably use one of the pre-machined-with-a-grid-of-holes optical tables. As you can imagine. All this stuff is quite heavy, which is why I'm saying local pickup only. RARE High Power Coherent 659nm Red Nd:Yag KTP Laser Crystal Optics Set
This is a main crystal set 1x Nd:yag. And 1x KTP for up to 4 WATTS of single mode cherry red laser light at 659nm. It is a spare set for an extremely expensive medical laser used for cancer treatment. This wavelength is used in certain biomedical applications and is very close to the absorption peak of certain biomedical PDT dyes. The color would be very nice for laser light show use, and the single mode output would work well for feeding galvanometers with. This crystal set is extremely expensive and almost impossible to find. You need to supply the cavity OC and HR optic mirrors, but they should be easily found from large DPSS optic suppliers. An old Spectra Physics millennia pump cable that would make diode pumping the crystal to saturation a simple task. Coherent VLOC Erbium Yag High Power Laser Rod Integral Mirror Resonator Ends
This is VLOC Er:Yag rod. It is unique that it has mirror coated ends. It measures 3mm diameter by 50mm long. The rod makes a pulse of 2940nm light that is good for everything from materials processing, to biomedical uses to niche uses like moisture measurement of cloud. It needs lots of C and relatively low V to get it to lase, 1500uf at 750V using a cheap camera type flash lamp is plenty of juice. The primary pump bands are longer than 600nm so diode pumping is possible. With the current state of capacitor and battery designs, this could be built into a very neat portable laser project. Coherent 7900 ophthalmic yag laser
For sale is a Coherent 7900 yag laser. It is a total workhorse which I have used for many years. Its only issue is the attenuator does not work correctly. The laser goes between 1.0 joule and 6.0 joules in one step. This has never presented any problem for me to do capsulotomies without damaging the intraocular lens. It has also been used to create peripheral iridotomies.

This needs 25W at 808nm to run and will produce 500mw of yellow laser light with one of the yellow KTP crystals and suitable resonator mirrors. What i was told is they were used to make a strong yellow laser light source for use with some kind of astronomical telescope wavefront correction system. Basically yellow DPSS laser. To raman shifter, to sodium vapor amplifier, to telescope. One thing is for sure if you had to buy this crystal from VLOC, the cost would be well, astronomical!
