Avalanche Photo Diode EG&G Y153 PBX 65 Yag Ruby Laser Diode Pulse Power Detector
This is a used avalanche photo diode type Y153. It is optimized for laser pulse detection in the 500 to 900nm range. But will work from near UV to 1150nm. It will work very well for Nd:Yag at 1064nm too though. You also get PBX-65 Si PIN photodiode which is sensitive down to 1100nm; this works well for high speed pulse uses. If you need a fast and extremely sensitive light detector than here you go. From what I found on the net the PBX diode operates at up to 35V, and the APD is up to 95V at really low power. High Power Coherent Burning Fiber Laser Diode 835nm 1W Industrial Parts Lot of 2
This is a lot of two 1W 835nm laser diodes. Both diodes are useful for tests and experimentation. But have mechanical problems that prevent their use in an industrial plate setter machine: As follows; one has the pin that is tied to the case broken with a fiber that is coupled to a ST style fiber connector, this diode should have the anode directly tied to the case using a mounting screw. The other diode has the ST connector is missing, output is directly from the fiber itself. Both diodes are tested to function well electrically and optically. These are very good for IR illumination and industrial applications like cutting and engraving. These lasers are extremely hard to find, and unlike the standard bare diodes, you do not need special optics to use it, a simple focusing lens will do. High Power Industrial Coherent Laser Diode 30W 808nm Burning Cutting Beam Gold
This is one of those high power gold laser diodes similar to the one that I offered months ago that was in a miniature precision welding machine. This one however. Came from a really powerful DPSS laser I stripped for parts because the YVO4 was fried. It makes 806nm at 25 deg C which is good for pumping higher power DPSS rods. You can run a little warmer if you want exactly 808nm output for a self-q-switched Yag or similar crystal. It takes about 2.3V at up to 40A to operate and makes an industrial strength burning laser beam out of the lens on the end. Included in the sale is a collimator lens for a welder machine. The lens is removable to use on other similar laser diodes(795-980nm) if you like. These lasers are very hard to find with the matching lens attached. This is a 1 inch diameter by about 4 inch FL lens used to correct the beam from a FAC corrected laser diode bar to make it into a usable beam for standard delivery to industrial galvo scanners in a micro welding machine. This is a high powered fiber coupled laser pump diode. It is good for up to 15W delivered through the fiber. Typically they are used to pump DPSS lasers like the Millenia and Vector systems. This diode still has the protective end cap on the fiber tip which is unusual for a typical pulled part. It is likely this is either NOS or briefly installed and tested. Then immediately removed from service. The company I got these from upgraded their millenia systems to coherent Verdi systems. The laser this is used with looks like a gold block with a SMA connector on one end. It makes it from a flashlight like 60 degree spread to a beam that can be used with normal optics. It will make the beam into a much more manageable spot useful for heat treating and other uses. The base of the lens has scuffing from a failed removal attempt. Osram high power laser diode array Unique 808nm DPSS 300+ Watt
One of a kind Osram R&D laser array. 8 high power liquid cooled lasers in one array 10mm wide emitters. I have tested each laser diode to as I removed them. They glow nicely but I don't have a driver capable of bringing them up to threshold. They appear to be 808-810nm from years of observing these things but I can't guarantee this. These can be anywhere from 30-100 Watts each. My best guess is 40-50 Watts X 8. Osram currently has nothing like these available on their site. I took it all apart for inspection in an anti-static work station carefully not touching the emitters. And found that there is some residue in the coolant chambers in the diodes as seen in pics. This is worse near one end of the array and gradually dissipates. That must be the hotter exit end. This will not interfere with its function as the residue does not ... moreseem to come off easily. All the emitters are in perfect condition. I inspected under my microscope. There are 3 holes for the coolant. There was an un-tapped hole on each end of the array which didn't seem very functional for the layman. I tapped the hole in the plastic end and added a hose fitting. The opposite end hole is in stainless so I'll leave that up to you to tap if you wish. I inserted a brass tube in there for testing. It's a pretty tight fit. You can remove this with pliers or add a little epoxy around it or figure a way to plug this as there is another hole on the back side. this one came tapped with a screw/plug. But was the same size as my hose fitting so I will include a couple fittings with the unit. I will mark the correct polarity before sending. Thanks for looking

These diodes have been pulled from a machine. But each has been tested and found to perform at or greater than shown in the power graphs. After many tests, these diodes have proven themselves to be reliable at high current high power operation. There is very little output loss with time as the diode/module is continuously. This diode is a non-standard size of 3.8mm. IT WILL NOT FIT INTO A STANDARD AIXIZ MODULE, a 3.8mm special Aixiz module must be used. A heatsink is an absolute necessity with this diode since it can handle so much power. If I do not already have heatsinks and 3.8mm Aixiz modules in my shop, I guarantee they will be there soon. This diode is far cheaper than other 405nm diodes of comparable strength. And offers a new"middle ground" for novice and advanced beginner laser builders. Lightwave Electronics Laser Diode with Driver and Power
Up for sale is a used Lightwave Electronics Laser(I'm assuming because I didn't open it up to look and it's still sealed) With driver and power supply. The tricky thing about this is that the key was broken off inside of the key slot and it's set to off. It was like this when I got it. Except set to Standby and headed in the off direction(it was like midway between) so when I got the tweezers to try and pinch it out it slid its way to off. Now. Before that, I had to rerun the wiring to the power supply because in the key breaking incident there also occurred a wire cutting one. I don't know how the freight shippers that delivered the original Quanta Ray unit to me(that this was pulled from) managed to do it, but I guess something came down right at that spot and snagged both. Anyways. So I resoldered, reconnected, secured ... moreand even put flex cable over the wire to get the unit back in the game. I plugged it in and got the Standby light, then it went to Off. I of course wasn't paying attention to the connections as I unplugged them. And so the buyer will need to figure out or do some trial and error to get them reconnected. They are all two pin female to male connections and I don't understand the circuit board enough to gamble on reconnecting it. So. With all of that being said, if there are issues with the unit you are welcome to return it for a refund.
