This is the flash lamp to my high energy Nd:yag laser rod in the other listing. The arc length is 4 inches and the lamp is 1/4 inch diameter. It is used but is gas intact and in working order. This lamp will want 900 to 1500V at 100 to 300uF with a nice hot 15 to 20KV trigger pulse. The output of this lamp is extremely bright with a cerium UV filter glass. Working 40 Watt carbon dioxide laser tube and matched power supply. Currently pinned out to operate when the red button on the power supply is pressed and held. There are pins to allow a potentiometer to adjust the output laser power. Wiring is already on the power supply. Simply attach the red high voltage wire to the HR mirror side and the white ground wire to the OC mirror side. Connect running water to the tube inlet. Plug the unit in and press the red button and things heat up that get in the way. Beryllium Oxide Thermo Laser Physics Nitrogen Gas Plasma Tube High Energy
This is a plasma tube from a small transverse discharge nitrogen laser. The tube appears to be almost used. But has a small chip in the OC end. It could be refilled with other gases to experiment with different types of plasma when zapped by extreme high current pulses of electricity. The electrodes inside are made of platinum and bronze so you can put almost anything in it without worry of fouling the electrodes. At the sort of energy density typically used, almost anything you fill it with will create a laser beam. One neat use of it would be to replace the optics with CO2 mirrors and fill with a near atmospheric fill of CO2 laser mix. This would make a powerful laser that could burn stuff in a way that would would make similar physical sized pulsed ruby or Yag lasers look like a sparkler compared to a welding torch. Small Uniphase Helium Neon HeNe Gas Lab Laser Tube Part No Output Beam
This item is a very small red output helium neon laser tube. About 7 inches long. It needs realignment, the OC end got slightly bent and I could never get it realigned. It still lights up with the proper orange plasma glow, just does not lase. This tube needs about 1,150V at 3.5 to 4mA to operate. The power supply is NOT included. Big Scary High Power Industrial Krypton Gas Laser Tube For Parts SB/1M (HS)
This is an odd one. It appears to be some kind of well cooled industrial laser tube. The Brewster window has a small chip on it, but the tube still glows with HV applied. The gas inside glows hot pink when excited with a HeNe power supply. It has one brewster window on one end and a red reflecting mirror on the rear. I am guessing it's some sort of pulsed ion laser or similar type of tube because of the degree of heat sinking. High Power Metal Synrad RF Excited Carbon Dioxide CO2 Cutting Laser Optics Tube
This is a Synrad CO2 laser tube in need of a gas recharge. It is gas intact. But only puts out about 400mw. Zombie laser. The laser tube needs a 30VP 150W 47mHz RF signal to run. When new, it output about 13W of power at 10.6um, and a simple gas refill can make the laser tube good as new. This tube was originally part of a synrad J48-1 for a high end laser coding machine.
