ITEM DESCRIPTION: Made to drive Lucas Ledex 24v DC 1 amp rotary solenoids that bounced beams and activated effects in a RGB DPSS laser light show projector I built. Up for sale and never really used except for testing it about 20 hours is a very professionally Home Made READY TO USE(8) Channel 24v DC Solenoid Driver(up to 2A solenoids) RGB TTL Color DPSS Laser Control, Control Panel with color control ... morebuttons and lever arm micro switches to activate solenoids(solenoids not included) Laser Illusions 2010 DAC(digital to analog converter) for creating laser animation signals to feed into galvo scanners, and multi conductor 20awg cables LOT. Designed to activate solenoids by a +5 volt DC power supply inside the main power supply box. Once +5 volts is sent to the L295(2) Channel IC Switch. It opens the current gate and lets 24v DC from a larger 24v DC power supply pass through the L295 IC Switch and activate the solenoid, which as you can see in the photos are nicely heat sinked and cooled with high velocity input and output fans. I did this design so recorded analog 5 volt signals could be recorded and played back driving the solenoids at whatever the queue might be required. Each channel is current regulated and adjustable by a potentiometer and each channel is also fused to insure the fuse goes before the L295 would blow. I think this could be very useful in ANIMATRONICS or ROBOTICS projects where multiple solenoids need to be activated on perfect queue. This is a ONE and only"working" PROTOTYPE. ITEM DESCRIPTION: Made to drive 8 Lucas Ledex 24v DC 1 amp rotary solenoids that bounced beams and activated effects in a RGB DPSS laser light show projector I built. Up for sale and never really used except for testing it about 20 hours is a very professionally Hand Made READY TO USE(8) Channel 24v DC Solenoid Driver(up to 2A solenoids) RGB TTL Color DPSS Laser Control, Control Panel with color control buttons and lever arm micro switches to activate solenoids(solenoids not included) ... moreand multi conductor 20awg cables LOT. Designed to activate solenoids by a +5 volt DC power supply(included) inside the main power supply box. Once +5 volts is sent to the L295(2) Channel IC Switch from either a lever arm micro switch or toggle switch. It opens the current gate and lets 24v DC from a larger 24v DC power supply pass through the L295 IC Switch and activate the solenoid, which as you can see in the photos are nicely heat sinked and cooled with high velocity input and output fans. I did this design so recorded analog 5 volt signals could be recorded and played back with a modified Alesis Black Face ADAT SVHS Recorder driving the solenoids at whatever the queue might be required. Each channel is current regulated and adjustable by a potentiometer and each channel is also fused to insure the fuse goes before the L295 or any other components would blow. I tested it good and left the solenoids on for up to 5 minutes without a fuse blowing) I have the current set to 1/2 an amp or 500 ma right now and they can be set up to 2A. This is an Avtech AVO-2L-C-GL2-N Laser Diode Driver with AVO-2L-T Pulse Transformer. AVX-S3A-GL1 Laser Diode Bias Insertion Unit with socket, connecting cables, and user manual. The AVO-2L-C-GL2-N solid state pulse generator is designed for pulsing laser diodes and other low impedance loads with rectangular current pulses as high as 1.5 amperes and pulse widths as high as 30 ns. The diode load is connected in series with a low-value current limiting resistor between two output terminals. Located on an external module which connects to the AVO-2L-C-GL2-N via a 2 foot long coaxial cable. Output amplitude control is achieved by means of a one turn pot control. The output pulse width is also controlled by a one turn pot control. Output polarity is negative. The pulse repetition frequency is variable from 50 Hz to 20 kHz using the internal clock ... moreoscillator which is controlled by a front panel one turn control.
