Hello. Up for sale today is vintage 1998 Bay Tek"The Fortune Teller" arcade coin-op machine. Such a super cool piece for a game room or retail setting. Very unique. Definitely a head turner. This machine would be the perfect centerpiece in your game room or your coin-op collection. Wonderful money maker! She dispenses a card along with telling you what your future holds! Cosmetically. She is in great overall condition. She does, however, have a few dings and scratches. Wear to the wood case. And a few scratches to the plexiglass can be seen. Nothing major. Just typical signs of wear from age and normal use. The machine is set up to play on one quarter. I am sure this can be altered if desired. The sound. Card machine, coin-op, lights and overall function work great. I have been told that her arms and or head are meant to move. They ... moredo not however. Up for auction is an extremely scarce pair of masonic handwritten documents from 1858 and 1892.They are both from 19th century artist. Soldier and linguistic interpreter GUSTOVUS SOHON. He was born in the 1820s in Tilsit, East Prussia and died in 1903 in USA. Each document is handwritten and is one page in length. The blue sheet is his ORIGINAL letter to WASHINGTON LODGE of Vancouver. Washington Territory- requesting permission to be initiated into into Freemasons at their masonic lodge It is undated BUT I know that according to Grand Lodge of Washington archives, he was indeed initiated into the Freemasons there on February 24, 1858.thus this letter would have been written just before that.In the somewhat poetic letter which uses careful wording- he includes his name, place of residence(Vancouver) and occupation etc. It also bears the signature ... moreof two Freemasons who recommended him to the Order; a Joseph Wise and Gay Hayden. VINTAGE TRUE TEMPER HUDSON BAY AXE, CURVED HICKORY WOOD HANDLE nice as picked
I have done my homework on this one. I see the heads on these were never stamped just stickered. The sockets have tangs or ridges in the head. So I put the shape and those things into play and found True Temper Hudson Bay Axe. I also see they are few and far between. The head measures 4-1/8" wide and 7-3-8" long almost. This is a fine example of a TTHB axe. It has some paint on it and I think a spot of tar on the handle. The head has a few small chips and looks to sport it's factory grind. The head is super tight and showing some factory paint. The handle is very solid with no chips. Cracks, or dings that say look at that! All I did to this was wd40 to the head and wiped it off keeping it off the wood. The winner of this axe will be very happy with their purchase. This is a can't go wrong auction. Each piece was hand painted into a reverse carved image. These amazing pieces of art were first manufactured during the Victorian era. Because they are so tiny and intricate it is difficult to manufacture them today. Current high manufacturing costs make producing these crystals cost prohibitive.
