This is a 1W 835nm laser diode that is coupled to a ST style fiber. It is very good for IR illumination and industrial applications like cutting and engraving. These lasers are extremely hard to find. And unlike the standard bare diodes, you do not need special optics to use it, a simple focusing lens will do. Oh, you could also use this diode to repair an agfa plate setter as long as the diode it uses is less than 1W and has the ST style fiber connector. It even comes with a coupler/generder bender! RARE High Power Coherent 561nm Yellow Green Nd:Yag KTP Laser Diode Optics Set
This is a main crystal set 1x Nd:yag. And 1x KTP for up to ONE WATT of yellow-green Nd:YAG laser light at 561nm. This wavelength is used in certain biomedical applications and is very close to the human visual peak at 555nm. The color would be very nice and exotic to use for laser light show uses. This crystal set is extremely expensive and almost impossible to find. You need to supply the cavity OC and HR optic mirrors, but they should be easily found from large DPSS optic suppliers. See also my Spectra Physics millennia cable that would make diode pumping the crystal to saturation a simple task. You could also make it lamp pumped with a photo flash tube from a disposable camera if high peak power is needed. Even low power 561nm lasers sell for over 3 grand, so getting these parts may be a good option for a university lab that needs this ... morewavelength. I got one of these crystal sets lasing at very low power using a cludge of ex-telecom optics and most of the guts of a Uniphase nanolaser. This is a small collimator lens for a green yag or argon laser. It makes the beam from a fiber optic into a usable dot. The fiber connector screws on the back and is the exact same size as SMA RF connectors. The lens is glued in place. But may be unglued if you want to make it adjustable for other uses. It was removed from a machine that was used to count cancer cells that had a neat argon laser and a small Coherent yag laser on it. The mounting has small scuff marks, but the lens itself is fine. See Warning! I assume this is 808nm. It was made 3/2002 and tested for 16.1W output at the end of a 1 meter fiber and current of 25.5 amps. The power supply reads 3.00 volts because of the voltage drop across the power leads. Slope is 1W/A with a threshold of 7 amps and 1 watt output at 8 amps. It's TEC cooled and needs to be properly heatsunk for continuous use. The cover was off when I got it and there are 2 minor dents visible in the pictures. Mouse over each photo to see whats up. Coherent High Power 473nm DPSS Blue Laser Beam Combiner Mirror Optic Mount
This is a 1x3/4 inch dichroic reflector mirror beam splitter or combiner. It is designed for 473nm and is very angle sensitive. In fact it can be used as a line selector to selectively remove the blue lines in a multi-line argon laser. One good use would be to combine laser beams for light show use. Coherent Laserscope Green Light Show 80W Nd:Yag Laser Cesium Doped KTP Crystal
This is a large 4x4x7mm KTP crystal for the Coherent/laserscope Greenlight systems. These systems can run at about 80 watts of 532nm output. And since the beam focuses inside the crystal, it is a common part to fail. The cesium doping makes these crystals far less likely to gray track than non-doped or hydrothermal grown crystals. If you are using these lasers for light show display, you should get yourself a spare KTP so you can change it out yourself in a half hour or so. Large High Power Coherent Ruby Laser HR Mirror 694.3nm In Optics Mount
This is a large 1 inch diameter Coherent ruby laser HR mirror. It is slightly blemished. But the center 1/2 inch or so is OK and pristine. The mount has only a Y axis adjustment which is unusual. It probably went to a cavity dumped or mode locked ruby laser system. Because ruby is a rare lasing material in current times, the optics are extra hard to find. Coherent 100W GREEN DPSS YAG Laser Rod End Pump Optic Lens HR Assembly
This is a rare find! It is a 20mm diameter DPSS end pumping assembly for 20 to 100W+ green DPSS lasers. The design of this optic allows the user to end pump most Yag or YVO4 laser crystals up to 1.5cm long and 1/4 inch diameter effectively. The 1064 side faces the rod. And the 808nm side faces the roughly collimated pump diode beam. It can take several hundreds of watts at 808nm and over 200W of IR 1064nm power as well. Your choice of lasing crystal is the only realistic limiting factor. It is made out of a special mirror that is HR 1064nm, and AR 808nm and a BBIR intracavity lens. Due to the design, it is quite tolerant of small misalignments making it ideal for portable high energy laser applications requiring ultra high power. High Power 532nm Coherent Q-switched Laser Fiber Optic Launch Collimator Lens
This is a small condenser type lens used with green YAG lasers like laserscope green light systems. The lens is designed to collimate the beam from an optical fiber. Or to focus the beam into the optical delivery fiber. It works both ways. This lens can take 30+W of average q-switched 532nm power. The lens has a diameter of about 1cm and has a focal length of about 1cm. The lens has a reddish optical AR coating and should work well with argon lasers too. This is a nicely made precision translation stage for moving a KTP or other nonlinear crystal oven assembly like those found in Verdi or Avia lasers. This item allows you to jog a crystal over a bit when the coating gets damaged after several hundreds of hours of use. It allows you to get the most use out of your expensive nonlinear crystal set.
