Fisher Scientific Vacuum Oven 48 Laboratory Lab Equipment w/ Temp/Pressure Gauge
Fisher Scientific Vacuum Oven 48 Up for auction is a used Fisher Scientific Vacuum Oven 48 that is in good physical condition. There are a couple scratches and scuff marks on the casing. But it is otherwise undamaged. For more information on the cosmetic condition please refer to the pictures below. Item Specifications: Model: 48. Volts: 115. Amps: 6.5. Serial: LL1. Inner Dimensions: 11 x 10 x 10. When testing. The item worked great. When powered on, it started heating the moment the heat knob was turned. I set it to the max temperature setting and let it set for a while. It heated up fairly quickly and reached a temperature of approximately 120C. One thing I did notice is that the"heating" light and"not heating" light blinked instead of being a solid color which indicates they might need to be replaced soon. Next. I closed ... moreoff the purge valve, opened the vacuum valve and used a vacuum pump to suck all of the air out and bring the pressure to a little over 25 inches(mercury) at about 2000' altitude. The pressure only dropped 0.3" in the first couple minutes and then held solid for the rest of the duration I was testing indicating an air tight seal. After testing, I believe everything is in full working condition and guarantee it to arrive as described. This item is guaranteed to arrive as described and pictured in the listing.
