We also set the temp at 3.0°C and left it running for about 20 minutes and temperature display reached 19.3°C. The over temp indicator also turned on. We do not have the necessary resources to further test this unit. The great thing is you can use this without a dedicated 220v service, this plugs into a regular 15a 120v outlet! It can reach 1500 degrees Fahrenheit. Perfect for firing pottery at home! This kiln is also small and doesn't take up a lot of space. Price includes shipping via usps parcel post to the continental United States. The inside area is about 12" deep 10" wide and 4.5" tall, the outside measurements are 14.5" deep without the door, 16" wide and 16" tall. Counterweight for door will be removed for shipping. This was broken off when I got it so I welded the counterweight back on to the mount plate which is removable for shipping. It works perfectly.
