Oven is controlled with a scaled adjustment pot that controls a SCR. The knob is simply turned to the desired setpoint which is shown on the scale surronding the knob. The actual temperature is shown with an analog dial which is in the center of the control panel. This particular model features the optional circular chart recorder and 7 day run timer. The oven can run on 208-240V single phase and we tested it with 208V. The 208V supply voltage yielded a max temp of 620 Deg with the actual temp reading 1-2 percent lower than the setpoint. Binder ED 240 Incubator Drying Oven With Natural Convection 8.6 cu ft. Up for auction is a used Binder ED 240 Incubator Drying Oven With Natural Convection. This item is in good cosmetic condition with some minor wear including scuff marks and scratches but this does not effect the functionality of the item. The function buttons and connections are in good condition. Please refer to the photos below for more details on the item. We wired the oven up to our 208V 3-Phase power source and tested it out. It powered right up and we originally set it to 100C. It started heating up pretty quickly and before long was up to the 100C and it stopped heating. After that I reset it to the maximum temperature. But we had to turn it off before it got that high. It was up to about 170C when we turned it off. It was on continuous operation when we were running ... moreit. I didn't find the manual until later. So I never tested it out on timed operation, though I don't expect there to be any issues. From what I can tell. It is in good working order.
