There is a mounting pedestal fixture in the center as shown above and below. It looks like the top was designed to vent. We don't know what they tried to do in this unit but it looks like they succeeded in getting some arcs to the upper heat shield. The next 3 images are different views of the exterior of the unit. the panel on the ground mounts up under the door to cover the heating element wiring connections. There are two large 10" ports on one side of the chamber as shown above(the one in the background is covered and the one in the foreground is not) The image that follows was thrown in just for the colors shown on the inside of the inner heat shield panels. The small ports have shutters. The top of the image above shows the shutter inside(hard to see) for the port below right. This furnace is from a local Us Govt. facility and paperwork stated it was in working condition when removed from service. It needs the vacuum system and looks like the control panel is missing some components, should not be very expensive to replace with period components, or could be updated with more modern components, also needs the bolts that tighten chamber door, gasket looks to be in very good condition. Third from last photo shows this exact furnace in operation, last and second from last show the back of chamber and inside chamber, I added these photos to try and show elements, someone told me there should be more elements than what is showing, I am not an expert on vacuum furnaces, so use your own judgement on what it needs to be complete, I have several more photos I can send if interested? Centorr GCA Vacuum Industries Vacuum Furnace with Control Stand AS IS Up for sale we have GCA Vacuum Industries Vacuum Furnace with Control Stand being sold AS IS for parts or repair. This unit has not been tested. It comes as shown. We did connect 230V. 3 phase power to the control stand. It did turn on and buttons and lights seems to function. The large selector switch has a broken mount. The Torr gauge unit also powers on and runs on 115V AC. The chamber is not electrically connected to the control stand. But the wires are in place to connect. The main chamber inside diameter is 24" and 29" deep. It comes with all parts pictured. Great find one Ebay. $ave now!
