Up for sale is a well used Thermolyne 1525M laboratory Furnace. It is an older unit from a state lab in Alaska. It powers up fine and I just tested it and was able to heat it up to over 1000 °F. I will ship this item by USPS Standard Post in a large box with the front door removed so it fits in the box. A phillips head screwdriver will be needed to re-install the door. Shipping includes insurance. Provenance: I bought this a few years ago on eBay in order to process ores for prospecting. Life got in the way and I never used it.

This Thermolyne 1300 furnace. Has the normal wear from use, with the inside being chipped/ broken and the burn marks on the outside. We plugged this unit in and flipped the switch. The green light came on, we then turned the knob all the way up. We then waited about 10 minutes and checked to see if it was putting out any heat. Which there WAS. But the meter on the on the outside did not seem to work. We don't know what the temperature was. However it was to hot to touch. I will see if I can get a way of measuring it, later on. SYBRON Thermolyne 1400 Table top Furnace FB1415M
Here I have a working Sybron Thermolyne 1400 Table top Furnace beleived to be model FB1415M. Came from a Soil Lab and used for testing organic content in soil sample. The gauge cover is missing and the needle on the gauge is damaged. The gauge will need to be replaced as you will not be able to determine the correct output because of the damaged needle. That looks like an easy fix if you can get another replacement gauge. The furnace heats up great. There is a etching on the top from an engraver for inventory of lab equipment. That does not effect the operation of the unit. Has burned off paint above the front door as you see in the photo's. This is common with these furnaces. I don't know much about this. Looks like a miniature kiln to me. I bought it at an estate sale. The man had a gun ammo shop so I'm not sure if he used it in in connection with that or not. I plugged it in and it heated up to 500 in just a few minutes so I would say it is working. Everything seems to be in good shape as far as I can tell. There is some scratching on the exterior but nothing major. It is 14 1/2" x 11" x 9 1/2" The inside dimensions are 6 3/4" x 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" By looking at the condition. It really doesn't look like it was used much.
