I got this at an estate sale and I do not know anything about it. It is sold as is. No returns. The bricks do have some cracks and a few will need replaced. The exterior has marks and some scratches. Thermolyne Type 1300 Furnace Model# FB1315M
This Thermolyne 1300 furnace. Has the normal wear from use, with the inside being chipped/ broken and the burn marks on the outside. We plugged this unit in and flipped the switch. The green light came on, we then turned the knob all the way up. We then waited about 10 minutes and checked to see if it was putting out any heat. Which there WAS. But the meter on the on the outside did not seem to work. We don't know what the temperature was. However it was to hot to touch. I will see if I can get a way of measuring it, later on. I don't know much about this. Looks like a miniature kiln to me. I bought it at an estate sale. The man had a gun ammo shop so I'm not sure if he used it in in connection with that or not. I plugged it in and it heated up to 500 in just a few minutes so I would say it is working. Everything seems to be in good shape as far as I can tell. There is some scratching on the exterior but nothing major. It is 14 1/2" x 11" x 9 1/2" The inside dimensions are 6 3/4" x 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" By looking at the condition. It really doesn't look like it was used much.
