AND I WOULD THINK ALSO IT WOULD RUN THE RISK OF THE OVEN REFRACTORY CRACKING DUE TO HEATING TOO FAST. EXACTLY WHAT THE PROPER START UP PROCEDURE IS I DO NOT KNOW. THE TEMPERATURE INDICATOR GAUGE SEEMS TO BE ACCURATE TO WITHIN ABOUT 25 DEGREES. I WAS USING A LASER TEMPERATURE PROBE FOR COMPARISON AND THE VALUES WHERE JUMPING AROUND A BIT AT THAT HIGH TEMPERATURE BUT I MANAGED TO GET AVERAGES.
