New Hermes EM motorized pantograph featuring a well-working 50W motor@18.000 rpm, very clean working area with all locking devices, clamps, carbide cutting tip, adjustment screws and ratio scales in great order and functioning like new. The 1:2- 1:7 ratio scale gives you nice versatility, and swing arms, motor control spring and drive belt are in good to better condition. It is a great alternative to the expensive electronic stuff that it out there and can perform for a variety of needs. New Hermes Bowling Ball Engraver This is a pantograph engraving machine that was originally built and sold to engrave bowling balls. It is a VERY HEAVY machine and I would estimate that it weighs in the 300- 400 pound range but I do not have a way to weigh it. The engraver is working and it uses a rotary cutting tool head that would be capable of cutting soft metals and perhaps harder metal too if time and care was taken when doing the engraving. The pantograph arms allow for a very wide range of font sizes and the engraving unit has a tremendous amount of working space on all three directions(X. Y, and Z) The work holding table is very heavy cast metal and I am including all the clamps and other tools I have for this engraver. The dovetails on the clamping surfice allow for direct clamping of work but the table is plenty big for a clamping ... morevise. I also have a large assortment of various HSS and other cutting tools. Many of these tools are not shown in the photos but they are included. I bought this unit originally to do metal engraving for gunsmith work but I never ended up getting into this line of work so it is time for me to sell some tools. New Hermes Engraving Machine Vanguard 3400 with EP module
Hello.up for bid is an older engraving machine from a department store that used it less than a dozen times they said. I own a signshop and was going to add in house engraving many years ago but have been busy and never got around to set the machine up. I do not have the software but was told that this machine was an industry standard workhorse from years back. It is set up with a cylindrical feature as well which would allow for engraving on curved objects like glasses etc. I have seen some units like these selling for around $2000.00 as tabletop machines without the extra bottom part. It has been sitting under my steps in my warehouse for many years and I decided to let it go and do some cleanup. The only thing I did years ago was plug it in and I could thru the module move the head around but did not have software to engrave so to storage ... moreit went. Hope someone can put it to good use. It is very bulky and heavy so I am listing as pick up only but we have a dock and for a fee I could break some of the base down and put it on a skid and ship via freight. Thanks for looking
