Vintage Engraver/ Cartographer Point Tool w/ Articulated Magnifying Attachment
Very interesting little vintage art hand-tool. Possibly solid bronze body, showing beautiful patina hard to see in photos. Accessory parts seem to be stainless steel. I know this piece was used in an old cartography studio, but it bears no markings or dating. I've seen similar things online that seem to indicate it might have been used in plate-engraving as well. It is still fully functional, and I could see it still being desirable to a collector, fine-artist, or jeweler.
