I own a signshop and was going ... moreto add in house engraving many years ago but have been busy and never got around to set the machine up. I do not have the software but was told that this machine was an industry standard workhorse from years back. It is set up with a cylindrical feature as well which would allow for engraving on curved objects like glasses etc. I have seen some units like these selling for around $2000.00 as tabletop machines without the extra bottom part. It has been sitting under my steps in my warehouse for many years and I decided to let it go and do some cleanup. The only thing I did years ago was plug it in and I could thru the module move the head around but did not have software to engrave so to storage it went. Hope someone can put it to good use. It is very bulky and heavy so I am listing as pick up only but we have a dock and for a fee I could break some of the base down and put it on a skid and ship via freight. Thanks for looking

New Hermes 3400 Series engraving machine and control unit. Unit powers up. But does not have computer. Comes with 12 bits and optional exhaust/vacuum motor for clean engraving. I bought the unit from a company that did engraving, but can't put together the computer/software to get this to work. This is a used Hermes Vanguard 1000 Engraving machine. I'm not sure if this works but it turns on and the computer monitor works. The Engraving machine motor moves and resets. I am missing the keyboard and don't know how to use the machine. The auction includes the computer monitor. Cartridge controller, and engraving machine. Hermes Vanguard 9000 Engraver Plotting Engraving Machine
You're bidding on this Hermes Vanguard 9000. Engraver/plotter. It shows normal signs of age and use but no abuse. I purchased it from a local college surplus sale where I was told it was working at the time it was removed from service. I plugged it in, the plate moved and the digital display worked(pic 4) That is the extent to which it has been tested. Please keep that in mind when bidding and e-mil me with any questions.
