Up for auction is this Roland DG Camm II pnc2000 computer aided engraving machine. The unit is used but in near new condition.On a scale of 1- 10. Where 10 is new I'd give it a 9. There are no scratches or dents on the exterior. The table has some marks and there are some plastic shavings on the inside so it was used at one time. The engraver comes in its original box as shown in the picture. It has all the cables to attach to your computer. Unfortunately there is no paper work or software inside. It will however do a great job engraving softer metals and plastic. I should have returned this to the factory when new but didn't. My loss is your gain, it has just been collecting dust and I'd rather someone have it that can put it to work, making money. Uncluded is about 300 name tags, and about 100 engraving plates that vary in size from 2x4 inch to 3x6 inch, and a few slighty larger. Some metals, but most are acrilic. New this engraver would run you about $3,000.00. Up for sale is a Roland MPX-90 in perfect working order. I bought this used about a year ago but didn't get to use it much since I already had another one and couldn't really find the place for this. The print heads on these are consumable but this one seems to have plenty of life left. The etchings and engravings it does are fine and deep. I will be including the user's manual. Software, flatbed attachment, vise attachment, extra head caps, and some 20-30 sample pieces to practice on. I kept the screws and brackets that held the gantry in place, which I will be reattaching before shipping. This is a used Metaza MPX-60 that I bought last year and have only used a few times. The machine comes with a power cord. A cord to attach it to your computer, a leveling glass and the manual. It didn't have any software when I bought it, but I downloaded the software and the drivers from Roland's website so you should be able to do the same. I have it hooked to a computer running Windows XP and it works flawlessly. The software is easy to use and requires no special training. I'm including a video clip that I took this morning which shows the machine engraving a tag. In the video you'll see a light colored surface under the tag- that's just a piece of paper that I use to help align the tags. Great machine, does easy imprinting of photos and text on metal and acrylic. Great for jewelry, dog tags, ID tags, name plates, pet tags, medical alert tags, etc. My husband made beautiful tags.
