New Hermes Engraving Machine Vanguard 3400 with EP module
Hello.up for bid is an older engraving machine from a department store that used it less than a dozen times they said. I own a signshop and was going to add in house engraving many years ago but have been busy and never got around to set the machine up. I do not have the software but was told that this machine was an industry standard workhorse from years back. It is set up with a cylindrical feature as well which would allow for engraving on curved objects like glasses etc. I have seen some units like these selling for around $2000.00 as tabletop machines without the extra bottom part. It has been sitting under my steps in my warehouse for many years and I decided to let it go and do some cleanup. The only thing I did years ago was plug it in and I could thru the module move the head around but did not have software to engrave so to storage ... moreit went. Hope someone can put it to good use. I really don't know anything about this machine. I had intended to convert it to mach3 or emc2 but I just have to many projects. The knob for the clamp is bent a bit but it still works. 10.000 rpm spindle 8"x10" work area but parts can be staggered for larger engravings. This is the version with the clamp from below. It is made of a heavy aluminum casting with precision round rods and bearings. Stepper motors, and the knob at the bottom is for a clamp to hold your work being engraved or machined. **New Hermes Vanguard 9200 with EP control module, computer & 13 Cutters!!!
I have a New Hermes Vanguard 9200 engraving machine for sale. The machine was acquired some years ago but was never set up. We use Xenetech machines in the shop and ended up getting a XOT 2550 for our large jobs. When we got the Vanguard the seller had it set up and gave us a preview of its capabilities. It worked perfectly then and still looks new now as it was never used by us. Comes with the control module and original computer tower that should still have all the software/drivers still installed. Also included are 13 1/8" shank cutters in varying sizes for the machine. Worth over $400 new. There is a mouse and some cables included. It seems as though a few cables were lost in the move but should be relatively easy to replace. Sorry but there is no keyboard or monitor included. Machine has been sitting in the shop for a while now ... morebut could make a great addition to your business/hobby if you set it all up. Any questions. Please ask! But keep in mind that aside from an initial showcase of the machine's capabilities ~8 years ago I have not set up or run the machine myself. Machine is therefore being sold AS IS. You're bidding on this Hermes Vanguard 9000. Engraver/plotter. It shows normal signs of age and use but no abuse. I purchased it from a local college surplus sale where I was told it was working at the time it was removed from service. I plugged it in, the plate moved and the digital display worked(pic 4) That is the extent to which it has been tested. Please keep that in mind when bidding and e-mil me with any questions.
