2 Vintage NEW Hermes Engravograph Engraver Machines Plus 4 Font Sets & More
I have two vintage engraving machines. Both are New Hermes Engrave O Graph brand. There are some extra parts including pen holders to engrave them. Both of these machines came from the estate of a retired jeweler/ watchmaker. I do not know how to use them. One comes with a motor mounted on the machine. It is smaller than the other machine. The base measures 11-1/2" wide by 13-1/2" deep. It stands approx. 13" tall at the peak of the motor. It looks to be in fantastic shape. I plugged it in and the motor works. The other machine is larger. It measures 12" wide by 17" deep at the base. It is 13" tall atop the spring loaded rod at the center of the machine. There is no motor. Also included are four sets of templates. Three sets are Brass(see photo)s. I do not know how complete they are. However, I see them for sale ... moreon eBay for up to $9.00 each letter. There are two sets that appear to be very similar(standard letters Caps and Lowers) one set is cursive(caps and lowers) There are more(six in all) included as shown in the photos. I recently acquired this circular engraving fixture in a lot of engraving equipment and supplies that I bought. I believe it was manufactured by New Hermes and i think it is a model JC-4. But I am not sure. It does not show a model number but is labeled with Patent number 3310874. It should fit most any brand Pantograph Engraving Machine. It is in excellent working condition but could use some minor cleaning. It is available for local pick up in zip code 28401. Or I generally ship by flat rate USPS. Here is an approximately 120 peice(if we counted correctly) set of fancy script font bars. The bars measure 1.25" tall each-this is the distance from the top and bottom horizontal ends of each font peice. These fonts will work any any standard engraving machine. Based on some research we did. We believe these fonts are made by New Hermes, however we are not 100% sure. They look very close to a New Hermes set we found online, and they are high quality brass pieces. We would estimate the set is between 20 to 30 years old. HARD TO FIND FONT! Solid brass engraving template for pantograph style engravers. Double Line Ornate Connecting Script on 2 3/4" blanks. style# 35-344. There are 2 of each lower case. And 1 each upper case letter as shown in the picture, except Q, X, Y, Z are one each upper and lower. Also 2 each number 0-9. The plastic case is in pretty good shape, but a little brittle. It doesn't do well in keeping the letters in their slots, so they may shuffle during shipping.

The Double Line Ornate Connecting Script is a hard to find set and ideal for many higher quality applications. For sale a Multi-Item Lot of# 13 New Hermes Engraving Fonts 1 3/4' and 1/2' 3 Stop Clamps one is 1/2' in-width the other 2 are 1/4' in-width(i.e. I found these with the fonts so I assume they fit/match for them) The letter"W" is the 1 3/4' font.
