Description: This listing is for a set of Richardson's Double Line Century engraving font. There are 161 total pieces in this set(98 letters. 10 numbers, 53 punctuation marks/blank pieces/various other pieces) It comes with all lower case letters, all numbers(0- 9) and various punctuation marks, etc. There are a few pieces that don't have a number/letter/punctuation mark on them and I don't know what thy are for, but since they came with set set I have included them. The brass pieces measure approx. 1 3/16" L and the size of the letters on the brass pieces measure 5/8" L. It comes in an orange plastic case marked Richardson's on the top. The previous owner also wrote"Double Line Century" in marker on the side of the case top. This font set is in very good/excellent pre-owend condition. I recently wiped ... moredown both the inside and outside of the orange case, therefore, it is clean. If you would like the brass letters to have maximum shine, you may need to wipe down the letters, although this is not necessary for them to work properly. It shouldn't be too big of a job to clean the letters up a little bit, if the buyer desires. The case itself is also in great shape. It does not have any cracks or major stains on it. Up for auction is a set of brass engraving letters in double line Roman or Century font. The pieces are all in a plastic tray. There is NO LID with the tray. The pieces are used. Each piece is about 1 1/4" tall and the font is about 3/4" tall. All the capital letters and numbers are here. No lower case letters and just a few characters. They were used on a New Hermes machine.
