New Hermes Bowling Ball Engraver - Metal Pantograph Engraving Mill Machine
New Hermes Bowling Ball Engraver This is a pantograph engraving machine that was originally built and sold to engrave bowling balls. It is a VERY HEAVY machine and I would estimate that it weighs in the 300- 400 pound range but I do not have a way to weigh it. The engraver is working and it uses a rotary cutting tool head that would be capable of cutting soft metals and perhaps harder metal too if time and care was taken when doing the engraving. The pantograph arms allow for a very wide range of font sizes and the engraving unit has a tremendous amount of working space on all three directions(X. Y, and Z) The work holding table is very heavy cast metal and I am including all the clamps and other tools I have for this engraver. The dovetails on the clamping surfice allow for direct clamping of work but the table is plenty big for a clamping ... morevise. I also have a large assortment of various HSS and other cutting tools. Many of these tools are not shown in the photos but they are included. I bought this unit originally to do metal engraving for gunsmith work but I never ended up getting into this line of work so it is time for me to sell some tools. Wizzard II metal engraver model 1W201A Dahlgren wizard 2
This is a Dahlgren Wizzard II model 1W201A engraver. It is set up to engrave metal but also can be set up to engrave plastic with a cutting attachment. We do not have the cutting attachment for this engraver. The motor for the cutting attachment does work but the cord or belt that connects it to the attachment needs to be replaced. We used this machine to engrave plates for picture frames and for trophies. Everything is still working on the engraver but it does take about 20 min for the screen to warm up. Before the screen is warm. The image will bounce and make it hard to read but after it warms up the screen is fine. I attached pictures of the screen when it was first turned on to give you an idea of what I am describing. The last picture is the image being displayed through a projector(I did not have an extra TV to hook it to) via the ... moremonitor plug on the side. This image through the monitor plug does not bounce at all, even when first turned on. So the engraver could be hooked to a small TV for a larger display. I used this engraver briefly a few years ago. I just unpacked it from storage and produced the sample shown in the pictures. I was able to re-install the Metaza Software and Driver on my Windows XP laptop from the Rolanddga.com website: There is also a manual to instruct you how to install the software and produce a metal engraving. The engraver worked perfectly. See the pictures for a sample of what I just engraved(I’m not a Patriots fan 8* just wanted to point out the sample is current… I used it to sell custom personalized pendants at a mall kiosk one holiday season and it was a great money maker. Hello. Today I am listing a Roland Metaza metal printer MPX-60 photo impact printer. It is in good working condition, with expected light wear from use. Great machine, does easy imprinting of photos and text on metal and acrylic. Great for jewelry, dog tags, ID tags, name plates, pet tags, medical alert tags, etc. My husband made beautiful tags. He passed away, and to tell you the truth I do not have the talent he had, and it just makes me sad to work the machine now, so it's best that I let it go to another, we enjoyed working with many great customers and he was proud of all the wonderful positive feed backs he got for his work. Included in the auction is what you see in the photos. One machine, the power cord, the leveler tool, the tray, a home made cd, the one we got with this machine when we bought it.
