8" Disability Engraving Template, fits into copy slide holder
This is a handmade disability template. Made of yellow laminate, it slides into the wide copy slide then just put your stoppers at each end. The design is 5 1/4" wide x 6 3/4 tall. As so many companies are having wheelchair accessibility entrances, bathrooms this is a very handy template to have on hand. The person that made it did a really good job, I don't know why the yellow had a hole, it does not go thru the back piece. He glued an additional piece to the back to make it more stable and not bend then added a piece at each end that just fits the copy slide holder. I have had a request to separate the two crests in the photo into two auctions. So for a quick response. Here is the auction for the Pi Beta Phi crest template. The other crest will be offered in another auction. At auction here is one hard plastic engraving template of the Pi Beta Phi Sorority crest- the crest on the left in the photo. The crest on the right is not included in this auction. I sold engraved items to college fraternities and sororities in the 1970's for awards and other activities. THE AUCTION PRICE PAID WILL BE ONLY FOR THE TEMPLATE ON THE LEFT IN THE PHOTO. I used these templates on a New Hermes Engraving Machine in the 1970's to engrave crests on metal plaques to place on walnut bases. To engrave metal mugs, to engrave flat bracelet charms, on bowls and any other metal item requested by sororities and fraternities ... morefrom my engraving business. The templates were made for me by another engraver. They were engraved in the plastic from much larger rubber kitchen tile masters where the crests had been cut by hand with a cutting tool. Center and clamp the template to the engraving machine table and trace with the stylus to engrave the item desired. If you want to do actual engraving. Then these are for you. Now days there are other ways, but these are still very useful and nothing beats actual engraving. The plastic template on the left(Pi Beta Phi) measures 6 1/2 inches by 10 inches by 1/16th inch thick. On the template. The Pi Beta Phi crest measures 7 7/8 inches high and 5 inches wide. Engraving Template College Fraternity Sigma Chi Crest - for awards - plaques
At auction here is one hard plastic engraving template of the Sigma Chi Fraternity crest. I sold engraved items to college fraternities and sororities in the 1970's for awards and other activities. I used this template on a New Hermes Engraving Machine in the 1970's to engrave crests on metal to place on walnut bases for award plaques. To engrave metal mugs, to engrave flat bracelet charms, on bowls and any other metal item requested by sororities and fraternities from my engraving business. The template was made for me by another engraver. It was engraved in the plastic from a much larger rubber kitchen tile master where the crest had been cut by hand with a cutting tool. Center and clamp the template to the engraving machine table and trace with the stylus to engrave the item desired. If you want to do actual engraving. Then this ... moreis for you. Now days there are other ways to produce crests, but this is still very useful and nothing beats actual engraving. The plastic template measures 6 1/2 inches by 10 inches by 1/16th inch thick. On the template. The Sigma Chi crest measures 6 1/2 inches high and 5 1/2 inches wide. It is in excellent condition ready to use. Use it and make some money. Happy engraving.
