This is a Super Set of Hermes Engravograph Brass Fonts. There are 196 total brass pieces. The pieces are in excellent condition( NO damage/ NO rust/very clean) The average brass piece measures- 2 3/4" tall& 1 3/4" wide(some are larger and a few smaller) Every letter of the alphabet is present(in upper case) Most letters have anywhere from 4 to 8 dupes with the following exceptions: there are 2- Z/ 2- Q and 3- X. There are a total of 135 Letter Fonts. 33 Numbers. And 28 other fonts such as periods. Brackets, commas, etc. All numbers are present with numerous dupes. In addition. There is a 10 inch long brass arrow(see photos) This entire set weighs 16.5 lbs.

Up for bid is a New Hermes Brass Font Set# 35020. They are 1.25" plates with 1" Block letters. This is an all cap set. This set was purchased with a New Hermes IM-3 Engravograph in 1989 0r 1990 by one of my former employers. The purchased was made originally to make plastic identification plates for machinery and equipment because of OSHA requirements. Once the project was completed they kelp it around to make plastic signs for sample packs. Some of the letters are slightly tarnished most look new. The word HYDRAULIC was set up on the engraver when it was stored at the plant. Which was shortly after the project was completed. These brass fonts are very high quality and each brass engraving plate measures 2 3/4" The letters themselves printed are from approximately 2 1/4" to 1 3/4" the smaller is based on lower case letters) and the font is absolutely beautiful.
