Richardson's Engraving Machine Alphabet Font Set 1" Block Letters 157 Pieces
Description: This listing is for a set of Richardson's 1" Block engraving font set. There are 157 total pieces in this set(91 letters. 31 numbers, 35 punctuation marks/blank pieces/various other pieces) It comes with all upper case letters, all numbers(0- 9) and various punctuation marks, etc. There are a few pieces that don't have a number/letter/punctuation mark on them and I don't know what thy are for, but since they came with set set I have included them. The brass pieces measure approx. 1 3/16" L and the size of the letters on the brass pieces measure 1" L. It comes in an orange plastic Richardson's case. The word"Richardson's has faded from the top label, but I know it is supposed to say this because I have 2 other similar cases made by the same company(these other 2 sets are also currently for ... moresale in my eBay store) The previous owner also wrote"1" Block" in marker on the side of the case top. This font set is in very good/excellent pre-owend condition. I recently wiped down both the inside and outside of the orange case, therefore, it is very clean. If you would like the brass letters to have maximum shine, you may need to wipe down the letters, although this is not necessary for them to work properly. It shouldn't be too big of a job to clean the letters up a little bit, if the buyer desires. The case itself is also in great shape. It does not have any cracks or major stains on it. Single Line Block New Hermes Brass Engraving Letters, Numbers,Characters 1" Font
Up for auction is a set of brass engraving letters. Numbers, and characters in single line block font. The pieces are all in a plastic tray. The pieces are used. Each piece is about 1 3/16" tall and the font is about 1" tall. All the capital letters are here and some lower case. They were used on a New Hermes machine. There are more than 165 pieces. New Hermes Brass Font Set # 35020 1" Block for Engravograph IM-3 or GM-3
Up for bid is a New Hermes Brass Font Set# 35020. They are 1.25" plates with 1" Block letters. This is an all cap set. This set was purchased with a New Hermes IM-3 Engravograph in 1989 0r 1990 by one of my former employers. The purchased was made originally to make plastic identification plates for machinery and equipment because of OSHA requirements. Once the project was completed they kelp it around to make plastic signs for sample packs. Some of the letters are slightly tarnished most look new. The word HYDRAULIC was set up on the engraver when it was stored at the plant. Which was shortly after the project was completed. Those 9 letters are more tarnished because they sat uncovered for years. The fonts and engraving machine has been in our possession and in attic storage for about the last 10 years.
