This vintage Surge Milker by Babson Brothers was found at a local estate sale. This person collected dairy items such as milk bottles. Crates, advertising and equipment. This item seems to be in decent shape, but with a few dents and scratches. It seems to have all of the hoses(2 on each stainless steel cup) Also one long one that must connect to some other contraption. The hoses appear to be original with some cracks. I have no idea if the unit is operational. The small piece near the handle I guess is the pulsator? The inside is relatively clean. The unit is about 15 inches across and about 12 inches high. Feeling a little nostalgia? Bring home this vintage Babson Bros. milker and remember days as a kid on the farm. This vintage milker is stainless steel. It features 4 black tubes and the attachment for the teats. It may called the pulsator. But I wasn't exactly sure. The overall dimensions are approximately 15 x 17 in. and 12 in. tall. It is sold in as is used condition showing wear from use and storage with scratches, dings, cracking in the black tubes, discoloration and edgewear. I have for sale a Stainless Steel Surge Milk Bucket only. I would say overall condition is good. There are no holes or repairs. I don't see any major dents. There are some little dents along the front edges which is common. This bucket is roughly about 16 inches in diameter by I would say a little over 7 inches high-the belly of it-not the handle-just the tub. The top opening is 7 1/2 inches outside. The inside looks clean. When I got this bucket it was dusty and dirty so I basically rinsed it off and dried it with a towel. I believe it is a 5 gallon but I am not sure. You are bidding on a very nice DeLaval Stainless Steel Milking bucket that is a very rare hard to find design by DeLaval. It is the donut shaped bucket(see pictures) and it comes with the original lid. Lid gasket and 3 cups(marked 06) The cups are not complete. It is clean as a pin inside and out and just has some light scuffs, notice the button handle and the round donut shaped bucket or body, these are very hard to find, it could be used but would be a great display. Greetings. This neat piece was redeemed from a barn demo. As a picker I'm always glued to any type of advertisement pieces, especially vintage and functional. This fits the whole spectrum. I confess my ignorance, and bear with my title I'm sure you had a silent chuckle. I have little clue on what this is other than its SURGE made, and that's a plus. It was mounted, and I took it off carefully so it will mount again. It looks at one time someone put a thin coat of white paint, which could easily be removed if need be. There are three filter looking pieces included that were on the inside. The lid lifts on and off and theres a spring loaded dispenser on bottom(see pic) Its a very solid piece with no rust or loose welds ect. It measures aprox. 30" across 15" top to foot and 4" wide.
