vintage Surge Milker fom Babson brothers for cow or goat
This vintage Surge Milker by Babson Brothers was found at a local estate sale. This person collected dairy items such as milk bottles. Crates, advertising and equipment. This item seems to be in decent shape, but with a few dents and scratches. It seems to have all of the hoses(2 on each stainless steel cup) Also one long one that must connect to some other contraption. The hoses appear to be original with some cracks. I have no idea if the unit is operational. The small piece near the handle I guess is the pulsator? The inside is relatively clean. The unit is about 15 inches across and about 12 inches high. The little stainless cups are about 6 and half inches long. I hope you find my description helpful as I am not at all an expert on these items. Let me know if you have any questions. Babson Bros. vintage Surge Milker Pulsator 2 Covers 4 Tete Cups& Brush Cleaner Vintage Babson Bros. Brothers SURGE milker. Includes. Milker pail, with 2 covers, 4 Tete cups, hoses, Pulsator and tete cup cleaner. I have washed this out. But may need additional cleaning. I am not sure if the pulsator works. I have no reason to believe it does not. Covers were dust taped on as parts were inside. Some duct tape residue remains on the milker top, nothing a good, hot soapy bath won't take care of. For cows or goats or whatever you please. I try to ship day after item sells. But if item sells on Friday or the weekend, then packages wait until Monday. I will email you when I ship. It features 4 black tubes and the attachment for the teats. It may called the pulsator. But I wasn't exactly sure. The overall dimensions are approximately 15 x 17 in. and 12 in. tall. It is sold in as is used condition showing wear from use and storage with scratches, dings, cracking in the black tubes, discoloration and edgewear. The mouth of milker measures 7 ½” x 7 ½” The cover is in great condition. Rubber Gasket inside is included. The 4 milker cups are all marked Surge. Two of the cups are marked Surge Pat 1945886. The cups have scratches. Dents and dings from use. The Pulsator is marked Surge and is untested. Does show authentic age and wear from years of use. Vintage Babson 5 g Surge Milker Weigh Bucket - Circa 1950's - Cow/Country decor
This Babson Surge Milker Weigh Bucket was part of an amazing milking system for the farmer. The farmer could hook up his cow to the milking machine and then stand back and let it do the work. This container is in very good condition considering its age and what it was used for. Cows were known for kicking the containers. This container does have a couple dents(see pictures) and has one(below-the-surface) scratch on the top near the Surge logo(also pictured) This container could still be sterilized and used if someone had the other parts.
