Up for auction is a vintage Home Health Milk Pasteurizer made by Waters Conley Company in Rochester. Minnesota. The bottom is marked with the model no. of PA-52 A. It is a 2 gallon capacity and the aluminum bucket is marked with 6 Qts. and 2 Gal. The outside is white enameled paint with a red electrical control box. There is an off and on switch. We tested it with water and it appears to work fine. The heat cycle ended after about 45 minutes with a buzzer going off. The buzzer continued to go off until we turned the switch to off. It was very hot, but we don't have anything to test the temperature with. It is in very good condition with dents or dings. The paint is good with no visible rust. This auction is for an antique Freeman Milk Pasteurizer Bucket. I believe its made out of copper(could be brass) Manufactured by J.T. Dougherty 409 W 59th St. NY. This bucket was used to pasteurize glass bottles of milk by filling the bucket up with boiling water with the glass bottles sitting inside a tray. The inside tray that would hold the bottles originally is missing. There are a few dents and wear marks. But overall still in pretty good condition and there aren't any holes. Up for bids at auction: Up for bids today is this Wards Mod. XGC-20C Home Milk& Cream Pasteurizer. This pasteurizer is from an old farm estate in Southern Iowa. It has a two gallon capacity stainless steel milk bucket. Is clean and appears to be in good working condition- when turned on it heated immediately, the timer ticked like a clock and it dinged when the cycle had finished. The body is enamel coated for ease of cleaning and in great condition. There is also a cord and plug on the lid. I’m not too familiar with these things but when I plugged in the cord for the lid, the motor in it hummer and the stainless steel agitator/ plunger wanted to move in up and down. I’ve never seen something like this on a pasteurizer and I’m really not sure it is necessary. I don’t have all the bells and whistles figured out on it but it heated and ... moreran a full cycle with no trouble when the base was plugged in. Other than normal use. Vintage Sears And Roebuck Farm Master 300 Watt Milk and Dairy Pasteurizer
This is a geat machine in wonderful working condition. I plugged it in and turned it on and the heating element started getting hot. There are few very small and hard to see dimples in the top lid of the unit. Some very faint surface scratches on the rest of the unit which are pretty expected from its age. Everything is here and it even still has the Underwriters Laboratories sticker by the on off switch! This is a really great collectors piece or for functioning use. For immediate purchase is this working VINTAGE SafGard P-2000 Milk Pasteurizer with Agitator. This interesting little machine comes used. In working condition, with everything in the photos. It is constructed of aluminum and apart from some stain on the heating element and a few surface scratches; it is in terrific shape for its age. The milk pail is also aluminum with a 2 gallon capacity, and is very clean apart from a few minor abrasions. The heating chamber has some stain on the element, but I do not believe this ever makes contact with the milk. The element heated up right away when I turned it on, and the agitator which runs on a separate cord, also worked(moved up and down regularly) immediately after being plugged in. It has a steel heating element in the lid and another in the bottom. It has an on/ off switch on the front. The lid is attached by a wired cord. The stainless steel bucket is removeable. It was made in the USA. This pasteurizer is in good used condition. I have not used this machine. But I tested for operation without any liquid. Both the upper and lower heating elements heated. It became very hot. It has scratches, scuffs, and small paint chips throughout. The heating elements are slightly rusted and have pitting. The milk pail has no damage other than handling scratches. Vtg SafGard Milk Pasteurizer Model P-5000 5 Qt Very Nice Rarely Used 1300 Watts
This is for a SafGard Pres-Vac Home Pasteurizer Model P-50005 Qt Capacity milk pasteurizer. This is in very nice condition and has rarely been used. There is no build-up on any kind in the metal bucket or on the bottom burner. It is nice and clean inside and out. There is some paint chipping on the bottom. Please see photos. I took the handles off to show how nice and how clean this is. I didn't even have to clean this. It will need a new hose, pick them up at Home Depot or Bi-Mart. I notice there is some scuffing damage about halfway down the hose. There is probably plenty of hose if you want to just shorten this and use the end piece. The cord on this is nice and clean as well. This has instant heat when it is plugged in. 120 Volts 1300 Watts 60 Cycle. This will be packed well for shipping with lots of packing.
