VINTAGE Stainless Steel Milker Milk Can Bucket-DeLaval? Clean 5 Gal Pail
Stainless steel 5 gal farmer dairy bucket base from a milker or milking machine. This great old piece is in great condition. No rust. Great sheen, feet on the bottom and a firmly attached handle. It has some dents on the bottom as shown in pictures. This is about 12 1/2" tall with a 7” open mouth and a bottom diameter of 13" GREAT use for decoration, hand painting, garden, planter or what the heck…to haul liquid such as milk! Its certainly clean enough to do so! This is a tad over 8# as is before wrapping to send This may be by DeLaval, I am not sure. The best thing about this can is the feet on the bottom. Vintage DE LAVAL STERLING MILKER w/ Pulsator & Steel Bucket/Pail ALL ORIGINAL
For your bidding consideration is a cow milker.This is a vintage milker. I am not at all an expert on these old milkers. But I believe it is what they call a"vacuum milker" or pneumatic milker because it uses no electricity or machinery to pump milk. It is a De Laval and is there Sterling model, second only to the Magnetic Speedway milker. I believe it is a 6 gallon. These are integral pieces of farm equipment and are very expensive items, due to the high-quality materials and their reliable function. This milker is probably 50 to 60 years old and could still be used just as it was the day it was bought! The milker is all original and even includes the original pulsator on top of the lid. Alot of these are missing on vintage pieces. The milker's pail/bucket is in excellent condition. There is no rust and the inside and bottom ... moreare both solid. The original octopus-looking udder attachment is included, although all the tubing will need replaced and reattached to the piece. Overall, it is beautiful and the only thing this milker appears to need is new tubing and some minor tlc to make it work. The piece is without any major damages or issues that I can see. There is a repair to note, the handle has been soldered back on at some point, which I guess is common. It would endure alot of stress when the large bucket was carried full of milk and these eventually failed and many were reattached by the owners. Also, I believe this needs two little pipes going to the pulsator. The handle is solid and the milker is a truely stunning piece. Selling"as is" needs some minor restoration. Lid is a 2 spout which was used as a fresh cow bucket for pipeline or parlor setup. Could be used for many uses such as. I have for sale a Stainless Steel Surge Milk Bucket only. I would say overall condition is good. There are no holes or repairs. I don't see any major dents. There are some little dents along the front edges which is common. This bucket is roughly about 16 inches in diameter by I would say a little over 7 inches high-the belly of it-not the handle-just the tub. The top opening is 7 1/2 inches outside. The inside looks clean. When I got this bucket it was dusty and dirty so I basically rinsed it off and dried it with a towel. I believe it is a 5 gallon but I am not sure. STAINLESS STEEL UNIVERSAL MILKER BUCKET COW GOAT MAPLE SYRUP WINE MILK PAIL
This listing is for a heavy gauge stainless steel milker bucket. Marked Universal on dumping side handle. This is the older heavy gauge stainless steel. Not paper thin like newer buckets. Bucket alone is 8 pounds. Holds 7 gallons to top rim so believe this is what they called the 6.5 gallon size It is approx. 15" tall not counting handle, 13.25" across bottom base ring, and top opening is 7 1/2" across outside to outside. Side dumping handle looks to have a old repair as does the bottom base ring. All welds look to have been done nicely and with stainless steel welds. Inside has bubbles from weld and a little darkened spots but should clean up nicely with a little dairy acid and fine grit sand paper. Filled with water and seen no leaks at all. other than the welds darkened spots inside and out is nice and shinny. Use for milk, ... moremaple syrup, wine, bio fuel, cooking, and many other uses. It's a large container and we think it's copper with a great patina to it. It might be brass. It's solid and strong with a sturdy handle to it. We've been told that these date from the late teens to the early twenties(1900's) and that these were scrapped during WW2 so this is a rare find! The can has some little feet to it as shown in the second to the last picture. There are 2 feet and they are like small cleats that were added to the bottom of the can during the making of it. Probably to keep it up off the ground. It measures 14.5" H and is about 7.5" in diameter at the top and 12" in diameter at the bottom. It weighs 12 lbs. Rare find. Just pulled out of an old barn. I'm no metallurgist, this looks, to me, to be a well aged copper pail with a rich patina. It measures 6" across the top. 9" across the bottom, and approx. 8 3/4" tall. The handle holder is nicely riveted, It has three feet on the bottom. Are they original to the piece? One of a kind? VINTAGE Old MILKER MILKING MILK MACHINE PAIL BUCKET STAINLESS STEEL Dairy Goat
This is a very old milker it's a Hinman M.M.C Onedia. NY. Comes as I found it. Came from an estate auction from the barn. Has a pulsator not sure if it's all there or if it works. I took it out of the casing to show in pictures. The stainless steel is in good condition. Few scratches and dings due to age and use. The handles are both bent see photos. This will need cleaned up.
