Vintage DE LAVAL STERLING MILKER w/ Pulsator & Steel Bucket/Pail ALL ORIGINAL
For your bidding consideration is a cow milker.This is a vintage milker. I am not at all an expert on these old milkers. But I believe it is what they call a"vacuum milker" or pneumatic milker because it uses no electricity or machinery to pump milk. It is a De Laval and is there Sterling model, second only to the Magnetic Speedway milker. I believe it is a 6 gallon. These are integral pieces of farm equipment and are very expensive items, due to the high-quality materials and their reliable function. This milker is probably 50 to 60 years old and could still be used just as it was the day it was bought! The milker is all original and even includes the original pulsator on top of the lid. Alot of these are missing on vintage pieces. The milker's pail/bucket is in excellent condition. There is no rust and the inside and bottom ... moreare both solid. The original octopus-looking udder attachment is included, although all the tubing will need replaced and reattached to the piece. Overall, it is beautiful and the only thing this milker appears to need is new tubing and some minor tlc to make it work. The piece is without any major damages or issues that I can see. There is a repair to note, the handle has been soldered back on at some point, which I guess is common. It would endure alot of stress when the large bucket was carried full of milk and these eventually failed and many were reattached by the owners. Also, I believe this needs two little pipes going to the pulsator. The handle is solid and the milker is a truely stunning piece. Selling"as is" needs some minor restoration. VINTAGE STONEWARE YELLOWARE CROCK POT FOR DE LAVAL CREAM SEPARATOR. Vintage stoneware. Yelloware crock has 2 brass or bronze spigots attached at the base. After I bought it. Someone came up to me and told me that it was a crock for a de Laval cream separator. Don't know if it is so. But the item is unique. Unsigned. Just the crock part is 11 1/2" height x 5 5/8" wide. The spigots are 2 3/4" height x 2 1/8" wide. Measurements are approximate. Good used condition for being so old. Some of the stoneware inside has flaked off. There is a curved line(almost like a circle) on the outside that extends into the inside of the pot. The spigots have green oxidation. One handle will turn. The other does not. I did not check to see if liquid will flow thru the spigots. The pot did hold water when filled to the top. Shipping is ... morefree in the USA. This is the scarce#618 model with the steampunk rocket ship styling. We have for sale a Rare Vintage Large Decorative De Laval Pyrex Glass Milk Receiver. It measures 18-1/4 inches in height. 9-3/8 inches at the base, 4-1/4 inches at the other end. The glass is 3/8 inches thick. The glass receiver is in good condition, no chips or cracks, some scratches and some small bubbles in the glass. There is some cloudiness on parts of the glass. On one side you have in raised letters De Laval, and on the other side you have in raised letters, pyrex and Made in USA. Just the glass portion of the receiver is being offered. Up for sale is a lot of two vintage antique De Laval milking can pails. One of the pails has some rust on the handle and a little on the side of the container. There are four attachments that have the rubber hoses. One of these rubber hoses has broken off. I have no idea what the other attachments are called…Please see pictures: one of them has the rubber ring around the lid and the other one does not.
