Here is an old Surge stainless steel milker bucket. Comes with everthing in the pictures. The bucket itself measures about 12 inches tall with handle and 15 1/2 inches in diameter. Good shape. Just a couple small dings and scratches. The cover looks good and is marked surge. The 4 milker cups are all marked surge. The pulsator is marked surge and is untested, but it comes with a check valve and O-ring. You'll need to buy new rubber infations and hoses. Sold as is, untested. vintage Surge Milker fom Babson brothers for cow or goat
This vintage Surge Milker by Babson Brothers was found at a local estate sale. This person collected dairy items such as milk bottles. Crates, advertising and equipment. This item seems to be in decent shape, but with a few dents and scratches. It seems to have all of the hoses(2 on each stainless steel cup) Also one long one that must connect to some other contraption. The hoses appear to be original with some cracks. I have no idea if the unit is operational. The small piece near the handle I guess is the pulsator? The inside is relatively clean. The unit is about 15 inches across and about 12 inches high. Lid is a 2 spout which was used as a fresh cow bucket for pipeline or parlor setup. Could be used for many uses such as. Storage if you bought rubber plugs for 2 spouts, brewery setups or stills, milker bucket by adding pulsator and claw, and many more uses. No repairs to bucket, lid has had the handle repaired but done professional and the whole thing is seamless stainless steel so will pass grade A milk for sale inspection if needed. Hello. This listing is for a old surge babson brothers milker bucket. This is the older seamed milker bucket style that has not been allowed on Grade A or grade B inspected dairy farms since the 50's. So sold as not safe for raw milk use. Any of the old surge buckets with the flat stock top handle, the seamed around the middle stainless and the raise bottom base are not safe for raw milk, only the seamless have been approved since the 50's. They discovered way back in the 50's that the metal alloy in the welded seams could taint the milk and make people sick. This is not something that would make people sick right away but more over a period of time. Why risk the chance of making people sick just to save a few dollars. I know there are people out there using these but I say why take the chance on something that was not allowed ... morefor raw milk back since the 50's. Each state has FDA laws to keep people from selling unsafe milking equipment. This is for display or planter purposes only and not for raw milk use. Bucket has some ding, dents, and normal use ware. Bottom has some staining, inside is pretty clean and does not leak, but like I stated not safe for food use. Returns only accepted if clearly miss represented. All non paying buyers will be reported. For your consideration is this vintage KENDALL MILK FILTERS box to mount on the wall to hold a supply of milk filters. This orange hard plastic box measures 7" square by 4.5" tall- just the right size to hold the box of milk filters inside. The box held 100 6 1/2" disks- non-gauze milk filters. 4 are left and the cardboard box is in excellent condition. The orange plastic box also is in very good condition showing just a small area of a black mark which might be a scrape it sustained at some time. I tried to picture this for you. But it did not show up with my camera. The blemish is located just to the right of center and about 1" back from the front of the box. Other than that, the box looks very good and will display nicely.
