This is a fine vintage piece. I am not sure of the age. But it is made of rigid foam and painted tan in color. The form is in excellent condition and is covered with a knit fitted cover. It adjusts from 34" to 47" in height is approximately 15 1/2" wide at the shoulders and 8 1/2" deep at the bust. The only label found on this piece is on the fitted knit covering. A great estate find. This a well used dress form mannequin. Grey cloth covered. Adjustable in height and in size however I have not messed around with the knobs to change the size so I don't know how well those work. I did check the height adjustments and it does stay up and go down. There are age stains on the mannequin and a bit of small rust stains on the cloth. Vintage Antique Hall-Borchert Dress Form Mannequin
This interesting mannequin is a vintage piece from the Hall-Borchert Dress Company. What I know about this mannequin is that she survived a fire at some point. And that is why the cloth covering is missing(you can see some of the cloth still attached on the label close-up) There is some dried water marking, and it appears that somebody wrote a few numbers in chalk on the body. The base is cast iron, and is very firmly attached to the mannequin. These vintage mannequins are in high-demand among collectors to be used as crafty decoration pieces. Vintage J.R. Bauman Dress Form Collapse-A-Form #1954
This is a"Collapse-A-Form#11 Strapless Model 1954" dress form. The cast iron base is imprinted"J.R.Bauman Model Form Co. 134 W 26th St. New York. The form measures 62-1/2" from the floor to the top of the knob at the top. It measures 34-1/2" from the bottom of the form figure to the top of the neck. The wire cage below measures 15" The figure measurements are: Bust 36" Waist 26" Hips 36-1/2" Across shoulders 14-1/3" The condition of the form is fair to good, as depicted in the photos. There is wear and staining at the neck and the shoulders, where arms would be attached, tears at both breasts, and a snag at the right hip. The is staining, particularly around the neck. The knob at the top of the neck is spring-loaded.but I haven't been able to figure out its purpose; the foot pedal is operable ... moreand, when depressed, raises the form about 3"but when you foot is removed, the form returns to its original height. I don't know if there is supposed to be a ratchet device that will allow the user to adjust the height of the form. This item would make a nice display piece in a commercial setting. Or in the home. We are listing this item as"Pick-Up Only" because it is quite heavy and an awkward shape. However. Should the buyer arrange for shipping, we could package the item and have it ready for pick-up by a carrier.

1957 Industrial dress form mannequin made in New York. This has Wolf Model Form Company on the bottom metal base. It has printed at the top. On the neck, S.M. Benjamin Co. It has a sticker just below the neck that reads, Standard Form Company-Perfect Fitting Forms for Factories& Designers-New York" Has the patent no. on the base. PAT. 1772240. This form has an adjustment to raise or lower the form. Has the original wire cage below the form. The cast iron base is in excellent condition and the 4 metal casters roll well. This form is collapsible. This mannequin was in an industrial setting for many years. The seamstress who used it, purchased it and moved it to her sewing room at home. She lived three blocks from Halmode Apparel, and from there she made custom dresses. Victorian Era The Ellanam L&M Adjustable Collapsible Dress Form. Cast Iron Base
You are bidding on the Victorian Era Dress Makers Form as described in the listing title and as seen in the 11 photos. If there is an issue with the item that for some reason does not show in the photos I will let you know. Measures 67" at its tallest point and 56" when fully down. All its adjustments and screws work properly. The foot pedal at the bottom lowers the form when pressed. All parts open and close as they should but the top knob is very stiff and I think it expands the hips. The form does spin around on its cast iron base which is on casters. No smells to form. This has been dried stored for years. Very minimal holes/tears to ... morethe fabric. She does needs a good cleaning and she is ready to go. No real issue noted. Great age. Patina and oxidation. VINTAGE Dress form with stand. Odd mannequin style torso dress form is in a semi hard plastic. Resembles blow mold a bit. Size 16 piece has measurements 35.5”x28”x34.5” and the torso part( not with the stand) is 38” tall. With the stand, as you see it this is 64” tall. The base will adjust up and down by what I estimate at 2-5" From the waist down. This has a woven fabric mesh cover. I thought its there to allow you to pin onto it. Not certain. The waist area has some light separation- meaning the glue that held the mesh on needs re applied in a small area. Easy to do but not necessary for its use. I have never seen one styled like this. Flesh tone plastic has some scuff. Dings and even a small chip as show in a picture. Again, not a use issue at all. The mesh fabric is not stained or torn. Inc. in NY. The base has cast iron fee t on rollers. With a cage bottom. It can telescope to approximately 8ft It has a size 12 on the front. However I have a vintage dress on it that is a size 8, There are 3 slight worn areas over the right shoulder(see photo) Other than that, the bodice linen fabric is all in tact and the seams are as they should be.
