Vintage Korrect-Way Dress Form Gray Knit JerseyTorso with Stand 1936 Adjustable
Here is a vintage mannequin dress form. This mannequin torso is from 1936 from'Korrect Way' This dress form is in near perfect condition. There is a tiny hole in the back middle right hand side on the grey knit fabric that is covering the torso. Included with this unique mannequin is a beautifully made stand. This stand is adjustable so it can be used on the floor or up on a shelf. Fully extended. It stands 4 foot 8 inches tall, and fully lowered it stands about 3 foot 5 inches tall. There is a spot of what appears to be paint on the bottom of the torso. The mannequin itself stands about 2 feet 8 inches tall, from the back. This is an adult mannequin, full sized. It has buttons up and down the front and back that allow the form to be adjusted to different sizes. The tag is fragile but still in tact. The rods that are supposed to hold the form in place are missing and it currently just hangs from the bar across the neck. Some of the tabs holding the wire together are corroded. Moreso toward the bottom of the form. It stands 49" from base to top and the form itself is 32" tall and 31.5" around the waist. Classic Female Adjustable Dress Form with Wooden Stand and Neck
This listing is for an adjustable female dress form. I originally bought this off Ebay thinking that I was going to design my own clothes. I did not get one thing accomplished. Now that we have purchased our own home. Space is a little tighter and it is kind of creepy with it hanging out in the attic. Everything is great except a little of the jersey fabric cover over the bust separated from the elastic and there are a few scuffs on the legs. The height of the form itself is almost 29" The waist is approximately 23.75" Bust 34.5" and the height is adjustable. The stand is a dark wood adjustable tripod stand. When it was in our rental house it looked kind of cool just to have on display. It also features a thin foam layer to allow pinning of material around the form. You can also work on trouser pants with this form as well ... moresince the torso is a bit longer(hips" about 32" We just moved into our first house and packing and unpacking(took a month! was such a pain that I am clearing out things that we don't use any more. There is no need of me to keep something that will never see the light of day if there is someone out there that will appreciate it and put it to good use and appreciate it. Up for auction is this vintage Singer dress form with accompanying wooden stand. Both in very good condition. The dress form is a Molded From Life edition, and the measurements are as follows: bust 36 inches; waist 27 inches; and hips 36 inches. The form has some flaking of the gold material used as overlay. There is also a shallow indentation in the area of the bust. Form stands 27 inches tall. The wooden stand is adjustable, height-wise. It is 46 inches tall, and the base is 14 inches square. The cage at the top where the dress form slips over has a loose support. Dress form dates from the late 1950's, to the best of my knowledge, and looks quite decent for its age of about 55 years. There are little pieces of paper with number on the adjustable knobs that are coming off from being so old. VTG MY DOUBLE ADJUSTABLE WIRE MESH DRESS FORM MANNEQUIN WITH STAND& MANUAL This is a vintage adjustable wire mesh dress form. Called: My Double. This includes the wire dress form, stand, instructions, 13 sliding rods and 2 shoulder bars. There is one piece missing from the set: one of the base pieces for stand, shown in image 6. There should be 2 of these, but only one is included here. So, in order to place form on metal stand, and have it not wobble, some type of reinforcer and a wing-nut will have to be a stand in for missing piece. Wire Form measures 29" x 14" x 9" The form is designed to be adjustable by stretching or compressing the wire. Form is in very good condition.
