The form will adjust to just about any shape I would think any one would need to make clothes. It will adjust down to 37" tall if you wanted to work on a table and upto 65 1/2" if you wanted to stand up while working. The base is cast iron and will be wrapped seperately you will just need to screw it back on. The off white shirt was used by the dress maker and does have holes that you see in the picture. For Sale: Dress makers form. Adjustable. Has cast iron base with swivel wheels. It has some sort of metal adjustment knob on the top. Inside the unit are a bunch of wing-nuts. Fabric on the form is black but has signs of some dust or material. Could be cleaned or colored back to black again I guess. Has some signs of use on the fabric other than that it's in very good condition. My mother used this to make dresses until about a year ago. It's been in her sowing room since. This sale is As-Is. This dress form mannequin is probably from the 1950s– 1960s There are many separate places to adjust: chest. Bust, mid-section, shoulders, waist. The fabric is in good condition– there are some frays here and there and discolor as well. The inside metal adjustments have some rust but the wing nuts/screws do turn enabling you to expand and contract different parts of the form. Some of these metal sliders do have some bend. It comes on a cast metal adjustable stand. There is some rusting on the pole. The previous owner sanded and painted the leg base– that looks pretty good! As shown in the photos. It has a cast iron base with an adjustable height from 62 ½ inches high when adjusted all the way up and down to 35 inches high when lowered all the way down.
