Blow Mold Style Mannequin Dress Form- Steam Punk / Visual / What To Do With?
VINTAGE Blow mold style mannequin part/ dress form. Steam Punk. Seamstress, visual, art project…who knows what use you have in mind. Light weight piece stands 31” tall and measurements are marked in marker on the mold at 11” across shoulders, 33” under bust, 29.5” at waist 40” hips. I wiped some marker with polish remover on a cotton ball and it started to move a bit. I am not certain if it will all come off but it may be worth a try. Hollow inside, light weight There is a screw inside one arm area on one side so she may have had other parts at one time. You are getting just what you see. Not a heavy piece but she does not fold for shipping so it will take a large box. 1894 and 1909 patent dates. Cast iron dress form, please see photos for condition. a piece of the shoulder came loose do to some careless movers, i have the piece for you. this dress form with cast iron moving gears and parts is the coolest for your steam punk industrial decor. this is the rarer model with iron paw feet and caster wheels. very nice patina, personally, i would keep it the way it is, or you can restore it.
