Here is a vintage mannequin dress form. This mannequin torso is from 1936 from'Korrect Way' This dress form is in near perfect condition. There is a tiny hole in the back middle right hand side on the grey knit fabric that is covering the torso. Included with this unique mannequin is a beautifully made stand. This stand is adjustable so it can be used on the floor or up on a shelf. Fully extended. It stands 4 foot 8 inches tall, and fully lowered it stands about 3 foot 5 inches tall. This listing is for an adjustable female dress form. I originally bought this off Ebay thinking that I was going to design my own clothes. I did not get one thing accomplished. Now that we have purchased our own home. Space is a little tighter and it is kind of creepy with it hanging out in the attic. Everything is great except a little of the jersey fabric cover over the bust separated from the elastic and there are a few scuffs on the legs. The height of the form itself is almost 29" The waist is approximately 23.75" Bust 34.5" and the height is adjustable. The stand is a dark wood adjustable tripod stand. When it was in our rental house it looked kind of cool just to have on display. It also features a thin foam layer to allow pinning of material around the form. OMG Old Victorian DRESS FORM MANNEQUIN TINY WASP WAIST Hall Borchert on Stand
PLEASE ADD ME TO YOUR FAVORITES AND CHECK BACK OFTEN. THIS IS AN INCREDIBLE OLD VICTORIAN DISPLAY DRESS FORM OR MANNEQUIN WITH AN AWESOME FRENCH LOOK. IT HAS THE FABULOUS SMALL WASP WAIST AND CAST IRON BASE WITH WHEELS. This is an older dress form of good quality and in good condition. This is made by the Hall-Borchert Dressform Co. New York, Chicago, as it shows on the base. The shape is fabulous and one of the best I have seen with the small wasp waist, which dates it back to the late 1800's or early 1900's. It has a tiny 20" waist. It has a very nice shape body with the nice black fabric covering. There are just a very few minor tears to the fabric, as I show. I show a close up of the side where there is a little area with a mark, or thinning or wear. At the top is a nice wooden spindle or finial. The metal piece under the ... morefinial has rust on it. The side arm plates have chippy paint and scratches. The base is heavy cast iron with a nice ornate design and it has the wonderful old original wheels. It has the old black paint that is a little chippy. It is stamped Hall Borchert Dressform, New York, Chicago. Underneath the body form, there is a little metal piece that was added so when you adjust the height higher it stays. The little metal piece or key that you screw to hold the height you want was added. It is adjustable in height. This has such a great look to it and would be perfect to display vintage rosaries, necklaces, crosses, crowns, hats and other jewelry. Sorry, my antique cape is not included, but for sale on another Ebay auction this week. Perfect to use in your home or shop. Perfect anywhere in your home in your shabby chic, French country, Paris Apt, Jeanne d' Arc Living style, or romantic cottage decor.
