This stand is adjustable so it can be used on the floor or up on a shelf. Fully extended. It stands 4 foot 8 inches tall, and fully lowered it stands about 3 foot 5 inches tall. I have had this for a little over twenty years and purchased it from a shop in a little town on Lake Michigan. I would guess that it is at least from the 40's and maybe older. The form will adjust to just about any shape I would think any one would need to make clothes. It will adjust down to 37" tall if you wanted to work on a table and upto 65 1/2" if you wanted to stand up while working. The base is cast iron and will be wrapped seperately you will just need to screw it back on. The off white shirt was used by the dress maker and does have holes that you see in the picture. The rods that are supposed to hold the form in place are missing and it currently just hangs from the bar across the neck. Some of the tabs holding the wire together are corroded. Moreso toward the bottom of the form. It stands 49" from base to top and the form itself is 32" tall and 31.5" around the waist. The lady I bought it from thought it was her grandmothers and she was in her 50's. But I don't know. It is made of a firm foam like material and covered in pink cotton like fabric. Vintage Antique J.R.Palmenberg Sons Dress Form Adjustable Stand Fiberglass Body
This is an Antique Cast Iron base. Fiberglass body Dress Form. It has a cast iron base with rolling wheels marked by the maker, J.R.Palmenberg& Sons, New York. The body is marked J.Beck, 9 F-1 on the bottom of the body. There is a handle on the back of the body that allows you to adjust the body up and down. The base is in very good condition with easily moveable wheels and no rust. The body has a small hole in front at the base of the neck. It could be easily repaired. The body has some small nicks, scuffs and stains here and there. The base is 14" x 14" x 15"h. The form is 41"h and adjusts to 55"high.

Fairloom Sears Dressmaker's Mannequin. Sold by Sears Roebuck and Co only. Cast Iron Knob on top that turns to expand the form; adjustable for height; with cast-iron 4 footed base. My mother's much-used dressmaker's mannequin is fully functional with no missing parts. However, there are a few holes in the fabric. Those that are noticeable can be seen in the photos. There is a white spot on the bust and a small hole beneath it. There is also a hole on each shoulder and a couple of other holes that are too small to see in the photos. In addition the Sears label has been ripped and is partially missing. I've used a low starting price to reflect the less-than-perfect condition. The mannequin is boxed and ready to ship. Use as-is for dress-making or disguise the holes with grey marker for display.
