TWIN FIT MANNEQUIN Med with stand. I am selling this used mannequin for my neighbor. She was an avid seamstress but now her eyes are not good and so she has asked me to please sell this mannequin for her. There is no size on it but I think it is probably a medium. The bust and hips measure 38" but there are dials that make that measurement expand. The waist measures 32" and that too appears to be able to expand. I am not a seamstress and so I really have no idea how this works. The length of the body is 28" I put it together to take the photos and everything works perfectly. The stand folds and opens perfectly. There is a metal looped bar which I did not take a photos of but it is included in the box. I have no idea what the bar is for. Chic Vintage Wicker Mannequin Countertop Dress Form Torso Hanging FABULOUS! EUC!
Hi. Here is a fabulous, vintage, wicker countertop mannequin. It is approximately 3 ft. tall and about 15" shoulder to shoulder. It is in excellent condition with no holes or breaks in the wicker that I can see. The only flaw is the paint job that a previous owner did to the intimate parts of the body. However, it would be covered in most instances with display clothing. It can stand on it's own or it can be hung by the factory woven holes on the left and right sides of the neck. I have had this for a little over twenty years and purchased it from a shop in a little town on Lake Michigan. I would guess that it is at least from the 40's and maybe older. The form will adjust to just about any shape I would think any one would need to make clothes. It will adjust down to 37" tall if you wanted to work on a table and upto 65 1/2" if you wanted to stand up while working. The base is cast iron and will be wrapped seperately you will just need to screw it back on. The off white shirt was used by the dress maker and does have holes that you see in the picture. There is a metal looped bar which I did not take a photos of but it is included in the box. The pole of the stand has black measurements on it. I have a Victorian era dress form made by ACME with an ornate iron base. It is about 4'6" tall but can be adjusted taller. It is in good/fair condition for the age and needs some fine adjustsments to assist in keeping it in the fully expanded position. All of the fasteners may or may not be present to repair. Here is an old display torso adjustable from about 3" to 4" You could make it taller by getting a longer pole if you wanted. The torso is covered in black muslin that looks like it has some age to it(stains. Sun faded in areas, some minor wear here and there) The base platter appears to be a dense particle board and the spindle appears to be painted oak judging from the grain pattern. This would be great for displaying clothing, jewlrey, etc.
