Hello, I am an artist residing on Southern California and this is a piece I created using various Vintage Materials. Original 1940's Child's Ballerina Dress. Delicious Salmon Pink color. Various fading in the bodice. Otherwise PERFECT! Metal Zipper. The deco clasp at the bodice is just clipped on and can be easily removed if you like. As is the dress also not attached to the body of the dress form. The Dress form itself is vintage and made of styrofoam. I created the coloring on the form. Which is vintage greens with a gold rub. The base is a Vintage Cast Iron Deco lamp base which is gold gilt.YUMMY! I combined the base with other lamp parts to create the stand. Hi. Here is a fabulous, vintage, wicker countertop mannequin. It is approximately 3 ft. tall and about 15" shoulder to shoulder. It is in excellent condition with no holes or breaks in the wicker that I can see. The only flaw is the paint job that a previous owner did to the intimate parts of the body. However, it would be covered in most instances with display clothing. It can stand on it's own or it can be hung by the factory woven holes on the left and right sides of the neck. I have had this for a little over twenty years and purchased it from a shop in a little town on Lake Michigan. I would guess that it is at least from the 40's and maybe older. The form will adjust to just about any shape I would think any one would need to make clothes. It will adjust down to 37" tall if you wanted to work on a table and upto 65 1/2" if you wanted to stand up while working. The base is cast iron and will be wrapped seperately you will just need to screw it back on. The off white shirt was used by the dress maker and does have holes that you see in the picture. Here is an old display torso adjustable from about 3" to 4" You could make it taller by getting a longer pole if you wanted. The torso is covered in black muslin that looks like it has some age to it(stains. Sun faded in areas, some minor wear here and there) The base platter appears to be a dense particle board and the spindle appears to be painted oak judging from the grain pattern. This would be great for displaying clothing, jewlrey, etc.

Vintage WOLF Model Dress Form Mannequin. Model 1949 Size 12 Collapsible. Nice!
I have for sale a vintage Wolf Model Form Co. Inc. dress form. It is model 1949-50. Size 12. The entire height is 62" The torso alone without the wire measures 35" It has a 35" bust and 25" waist. The shoulders collapse when the circle pedal is pressed. The tape around the shoulders holds them together from further expanding. It may need to be repaired. especially the left shoulder. The height of the torso adjusts when the other pedal is pressed. But it only pushes down an inch or so. And the torso requires a strong push down. To lower it. VINTAGE Retail/Sewing Composition Dress Form / Mannequin with Odd Metal Base
VINTAGE Very unusual retail dress form/ mannequin. We do not believe this was used for sewing. Only visuals. At first look. We thought this was paper mache’ as that is what it looks like. Upon 2 nd look. It appears to be a composition of some type on a rigid fabric covered base or silhouette. A separate metal section keeps the neck and arm areas at attention, so with this cover off, it looks like a robot of sorts. The base is a square one, non adjusting at 15” square and 8-9” tall. The shaft or pole that holds the top skeletal section and cover does adjust up or down some. Its at 63” tall now and it looks as if there may be a couple inched additional, and it goes shorter as well. However my arthritic hands cannot move the metal part at all, so if exact size height is necessary, this may not help you. If I stand right next to it we are about ... morethe same height at 5’ 3” The body part is 15-16“ across the shoulders and 33” 29” 37” The color presents in a pretty gold-bronze. The shell or form part is not perfect at all. But still works as designed. She has some noted wear at the one arm hole, a bit crushed and soft, but again still solid. One breast has a gash puncture-indent and she has composition flaking and loss over her cover. She sounds like she has a lot of issues. And well, she does…BUT she still works, retains that old school retail appearance and would make a wonderful display for an old dress or other show piece. I will ship this in 2 boxes as the base could damage the form in shipping. I have the larger of the 2 boxes estimated in the ebay window. Please understand there is a second box so what you see is not your total cost to ship.
