The torso is covered in black muslin that looks like it has some age to it(stains. This listing is for an adjustable female dress form. I originally bought this off Ebay thinking that I was going to design my own clothes. I did not get one thing accomplished. Now that we have purchased our own home. Space is a little tighter and it is kind of creepy with it hanging out in the attic. Everything is great except a little of the jersey fabric cover over the bust separated from the elastic and there are a few scuffs on the legs. The height of the form itself is almost 29" The waist is approximately 23.75" Bust 34.5" and the height is adjustable. The stand is a dark wood adjustable tripod stand. When it was in our rental house it looked kind of cool just to have on display. It also features a thin foam layer to allow pinning of material around the form. This was the dress form my mom used in the 1980's. I don't see a brand name but she was an expensive purchase back in the day. Her Torso is foam covered in a stretchy brown cloth. At one time. You could adjust the bust, waist and hips with the 3 dials on the side. The adjustments no longer work. But you could still use the item for a dress form. The measurements on the torso are: Bust = 37" Waist = 29" hips = 39" Back in the day. This was considered a"larger" dress form. We just couldn't believe how fat we all were! It does not have a stand/ base, but it can be either free standing or be put onto a standard stand/ base as it does have a hook up for attaching a stand/ base but you have to get a base separately if you don't already have one.
