Vintage Singer dress form Molded From Life series w/ adjustable wooden stand VGC
Up for auction is this vintage Singer dress form with accompanying wooden stand. Both in very good condition. The dress form is a Molded From Life edition, and the measurements are as follows: bust 36 inches; waist 27 inches; and hips 36 inches. The form has some flaking of the gold material used as overlay. There is also a shallow indentation in the area of the bust. Form stands 27 inches tall. The wooden stand is adjustable, height-wise. It is 46 inches tall, and the base is 14 inches square. The cage at the top where the dress form slips over has a loose support. Dress form dates from the late 1950's, to the best of my knowledge, and looks quite decent for its age of about 55 years. The combined weight of the form and stand is almost 15 pounds. Local pick up is also offered for the dress form and stand. Vintage Singer Dress Form Molded Feom Life Small W/ Adjustable Aluminum Base
This is a vintage Singer dress form with a very cool adjustable aluminum base. The tag on the inside reads"Molded from life" leading me to think this was molded for a specific person but I'm not sure. The waist measures 25" and the bust is 33" The total body length is 26.5" not including the base. The base is adjustable and is made of heavy. Thick aluminum. The inside has some normal age related peeling but the form is solid. The body lifts off the base and there is a neck piece that is just loose(the neck piece is bent but needs to be to fit through the small waist) Nude color clothe covering. In overall clean condition with some light wear and small dirty spots. Smoke. Odor, and gross free!

Vintage Tru-Shape Singer Adjustable Dress Form/Mannequin/Prop This piece has a very sturdy black iron base and is adjustable in height. It is covered in a purple and white"tweed like" fabric. The bottom half has a the same fabric in a moveable stretchy tube. There is some rust on the metal pieces here and there. But is in good shape. I have not tried to adjust this. It has been used as a display piece for jewelry since I purchased it several years ago. Vintage Singer Dress Form -with Heavy adjustable steel stand
Vintage Singer Dress form(non adjustable with adjustable heavy iron stand. It seems like some sort of paper mache covered with a cotton fabric. There are a few dents. There are also ribbons attached with tacks that I guess were brass at one time? don't really know) The form by itself measures 30"HX 18" W X 13" deep(from the chest) some wear but overall in good shape(use the pictures as your guide) The stand is heavy steel with several levers for adjustments. I don't know what the complicated toothed mechanism if for.
