Vintage Superior Dress Form Teen Model 1960 This vintage teen dress form is marked Superior Model Forms Co. Inc. Teen, St Model 1960 on the front. A metal label with the company information is attached along with a metal tag at the top marked 11-00104. The teen form has some stains and dark marks, one small tear(pictured) and a patina on the metal parts. The top has a rod that slides out 8 3/4" The dress form is 40" tall. The bottom of the legs have round holes. The rectangular cast iron base is 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and has a 12 1/2" rod that fits into one of the legs. Up for sale is a refurbished Wolf dress form. Size 9 Junior, 1985. Measurements are Bust- 36 inches, Waist 26-1/2 inches, and Hips 37 inches. Back-Waist length is 16-1/4 inches. The refurbishment involved removing the prior linen cover which was quite worn, and carefully reconstructing a new pattern and re-covering the dress form. I left it blank(did not stencil Wolf back on the form) so that you could stencil your own name on the dress form. The old linen cover is included(proof this is a Wolf form- last picture shows the old cover) The shoulders are collapsible and the height is adjustable with the pedal. This was the dress form my mom used in the 1980's. I don't see a brand name but she was an expensive purchase back in the day. Her Torso is foam covered in a stretchy brown cloth. At one time. You could adjust the bust, waist and hips with the 3 dials on the side. The adjustments no longer work. But you could still use the item for a dress form. I am no expert on these dress forms at all. Bought these from a close out at our local JC Penny store going out of business sale. I do have a few so feel free to browse my page. VINTAGE Retail/Sewing Composition Dress Form / Mannequin with Odd Metal Base
VINTAGE Very unusual retail dress form/ mannequin. We do not believe this was used for sewing. Only visuals. At first look. We thought this was paper mache’ as that is what it looks like. Upon 2 nd look. It appears to be a composition of some type on a rigid fabric covered base or silhouette. A separate metal section keeps the neck and arm areas at attention, so with this cover off, it looks like a robot of sorts. The base is a square one, non adjusting at 15” square and 8-9” tall. The shaft or pole that holds the top skeletal section and cover does adjust up or down some. Its at 63” tall now and it looks as if there may be a couple inched additional, and it goes shorter as well. However my arthritic hands cannot move the metal part at all, so if exact size height is necessary, this may not help you. If I stand right next to it we are about ... morethe same height at 5’ 3” The body part is 15-16“ across the shoulders and 33” 29” 37” The color presents in a pretty gold-bronze. The shell or form part is not perfect at all. But still works as designed. She has some noted wear at the one arm hole, a bit crushed and soft, but again still solid. One breast has a gash puncture-indent and she has composition flaking and loss over her cover. She sounds like she has a lot of issues. And well, she does…BUT she still works, retains that old school retail appearance and would make a wonderful display for an old dress or other show piece. I will ship this in 2 boxes as the base could damage the form in shipping. I have the larger of the 2 boxes estimated in the ebay window. This is very nice child's dress form or mannequin. It has been gently used, it is made of a foam, covered torso, with a cream colored material covering the foam, it has a very nice real wood base, with a very nice chrome bar, that adjusts the torso, it has numbers on the back see photo. The screw at the top of the mannequin, has some discoloration around the screw that is the only flaw, which does not effect anything. This item comes apart for storage. This is a used item and is not considered mint condition, but is in very good used condition. OMG Old Victorian DRESS FORM MANNEQUIN TINY WASP WAIST Hall Borchert on Stand
PLEASE ADD ME TO YOUR FAVORITES AND CHECK BACK OFTEN. THIS IS AN INCREDIBLE OLD VICTORIAN DISPLAY DRESS FORM OR MANNEQUIN WITH AN AWESOME FRENCH LOOK. IT HAS THE FABULOUS SMALL WASP WAIST AND CAST IRON BASE WITH WHEELS. This is an older dress form of good quality and in good condition. This is made by the Hall-Borchert Dressform Co. New York, Chicago, as it shows on the base. The shape is fabulous and one of the best I have seen with the small wasp waist, which dates it back to the late 1800's or early 1900's. It has a tiny 20" waist. It has a very nice shape body with the nice black fabric covering. There are just a very few minor tears to the fabric, as I show. I show a close up of the side where there is a little area with a mark, or thinning or wear. At the top is a nice wooden spindle or finial. The metal piece under the ... morefinial has rust on it. The side arm plates have chippy paint and scratches. The base is heavy cast iron with a nice ornate design and it has the wonderful old original wheels. It has the old black paint that is a little chippy. It is stamped Hall Borchert Dressform, New York, Chicago. Underneath the body form, there is a little metal piece that was added so when you adjust the height higher it stays. The little metal piece or key that you screw to hold the height you want was added. It is adjustable in height. This has such a great look to it and would be perfect to display vintage rosaries, necklaces, crosses, crowns, hats and other jewelry. Sorry, my antique cape is not included, but for sale on another Ebay auction this week. Perfect to use in your home or shop. Perfect anywhere in your home in your shabby chic, French country, Paris Apt, Jeanne d' Arc Living style, or romantic cottage decor. My Double Dress Form Medium No Stand
This is a wine colored medium My Double dress form. It is used.And there is an area in the back where the material is torn but I tried to glue it back down. The dress form is still functional. Measurements: bust: 39-inch-47-inch. Waist: 32-inch-39-inch, hips: 41-inch-49-inch Neck: 14-inch plus. Back waist length: 16-inch plus.
