This is a knight-kit RF Sweep Generator with the original manual that was used to build it. One of the photos shows the specifications/capabilities of the device. I have turned it on and the indicator light glows. And the oscillation output increases when the megacycle values are increase. Presumably, with the manual, you could troubleshoot and repair it if it is not fully functional. The unit is clean and shows signs of wear but not abuse. All the knobs are intact and the sweep indicator works mechanically. Two cables are included but I think a resistor is missing from one and the screw-on terminal end from the other. I have turned it on and the indicator light glows. But I do not know if it works. Presumably, with the manual, you could troubleshoot and repair it if it is not fully functional. The unit is clean, shows signs of wear but not abuse, and has several corrosion spots on the bottom. All the knobs are intact and the sweep indicator works mechanically.

EICO SIGNAL GENERATOR Model 324 w Test Leads&User Manual- Works!
This is a working 1950's EICO Model 324 Signal Generator. Frequency range is 150kc to 435mc in six bands. Having obtained this from an electronics trade school. It is in excellent cosmetic condition, as shown in the photos. Included are the test leads and the original EICO instruction manual. For testing, using a digital shortwave radio and the RF Ext Mod Selector, I was able to hear selected zero beat harmonics on various frequencies from 400khz to 30mhz. All harmonics were extremely close to the dial frequency on the signal generator. The Signal Selector switch is somewhat hard to turn, probably needs some lubrication. MODEL. FEATURES, CONDITION: Standing just 8 inches tall. The lunchbox sized Heathkit Model SG-8 RF Signal Generator won’t take up valuable bench space. Here’s an unusually well preserved example with a front panel that looks factory fresh. The instrument was recently serviced, and the old obsolete Amphenol output connectors were replaced with BNC type that will be much more compatable with today’s cables and adapters. Components inside are looking fine with no signs of swelling or discoloration, and the generator has been recently tested. Generator will prove to be a valuable instrument to have when aligning radios, etc where you can switch in the on-board modulation circuit or externally modulate a signal on top of the RF signal. RF signal is adjustable from 150 KHz all the way up to 220 MHz in five adjustable steps on the band selector. ... moreSmoothly geared tuning condenser has great stability, and the dial index mark accurately points to the proper frequency calibrations. Photos of the electronics will show that this unit has a neat layout on a copper plated chassis, and interior is quite clean without corrosion. Pots and switches have been properly cleaned and work well, with switches positively engaging, power cord is safe and pliable. The unit has been tested, and the signals are present at all frequencies. The audio test signal is working as well with a very clean sine wave output. Modulation circuit works as well, and it was interesting to have a radio nearby to listen to the beat note and whistling as the IF and RF frequencies were being matched. Cosmetics are superb overall with only a few faint scratches on the gray textured wrinkle finish. Front panel looks factory fresh without a scratch, silkscreened graphics and numerals all legible, green pilot light is bright, and carry handle is safe and sturdy. Components inside are very easily serviced, and the 2 tubes are commonly found. This is a very nice Heath IG-37 tube-type FM Stereo signal generator for FM tuner alignment. In beautiful condition. It has one minor modification. I put a switch in the 19 KHz pilot oscillator tube cathode return to be able to turn the pilot oscillator off without disturbing the rest of the generator's function. This is shown on the schematic in the manual. Yes. It comes with the original manual! It also comes with the original 300-Ohm output cable with plug to match the generator's output socket.
