This came in from a test facility that had some older equipment that they didn't need anymore. This looks like it was in storage and not used for awhile. A lot of stuff we get from h ere works fine. See a lot of great positive feedbacks we have gotten from these. And haven't been tested and sold as parts/repair, so must have been pretty good! I am not a technician, but I did plug it in and it fired up okay. F irst powered up and showed a trace pretty much centered in the lower part of the grid. I moved the trace left/right. Up/down. Increased/decreased intensity. Adjusted the focus, etc. I decided to punch a bunch of buttons to get the panel to light up and show that it does seem to work somewhat. Came up with two different traces, with two lines in each trace. Picture three has a dual trace in the center(center two lines) with a bigger dual trace(upper and lower lines) enclosing the inner dual trace.There is not much else I can do to test this since I have no probes. Machine looks great and looks like it would run just fine. B ut since I can't test. Will be selling as a parts/repair unit and sold AS IS. Showed some things I can do, and looks to work somewhat. I had to manually go into the trigger page to adjust the trigger threshold to 50% of scale; and then the waveform would stop moving on the monitor. The exterior of the units are a bit scuffed up. These units are heavy; combined weight is ~120 pounds. This is lab surplus. And sold for parts, as is, with no return. The oscilloscope powers on, and displays a trace on both channels, but the trace behaves oddly. See the photos. I did not notice any response to the time/division adjustment. Both fine adjustment knobs for volts/division are bent, and the channel 2 knob cover is cracked, but all appear to function properly. Ultra nice BK Precision 1474. 30 MHz, Triggered Sweep, Dual-Trace Oscilloscope With Built-In Signal Delay Line. Have owned and used this scope for quite sometime. Had zero problems with the unit. All the functions seem to work well. Have used it as a HAM station monitor to monitor the SSB transmitted signal with an easy to build signal adapter. This scope looks in exceptional condition and works as well as some of the ultra high dollar equipment we used in the USAF. Will include an original Dynascan PR36 Direct/Low capacity probe in excellent condition. Can change from 10:1 to 1:1 probe very easily. Also a Schlumberger PKW-105, X1, Ref, X10 probe in good condition. Will also include a Tektronix 1:1 plain probe. Has very nice photo copied instruction manual. Power cord wraps around four corner posts on the back, so you can set the scope down ... moreusing the handle, like a suitcase.
