Used unit in good physical and electrical condition. We have checked this unit out and it seems to be in good operating condition. The B +/ trigger switch does operate. But the shaft seems to be loose inside the unit. Also, in the A INTEN sweep mode the A trace seems to stop at the end of the B trace, not a big deal but think it should continue to the end of the screen(see next to last photo) The last photo is the B timebase ALT function(which looks like it works fine) Screen is nice and bright with good focus and no burns. At the time. This oscilloscope was purchased from a knowledgeable seller, unit#3 of 5 units they had available. I had originally intended to learn repair work but that opportunity never materialized. Therefore this scope was never used by me. I selected this particular model after much research and recommendations from industry techs with a history of repairing recent equipment and vintage components. The Tektronix 465B Oscilloscope was considered the industry standard in 100MHz portable oscilloscopes for many years and still remains very desirable today. The unit has a white sticker on top that says"calibrated" so it's been bench tested for accuracy at some point. I am not familiar with how this unit functions. Therefore the unit must be sold as is, however the unit powers on fine and appears to work as it should. Extra time was taken to research and purchase the correct genuine Tektronix test probes and instruction manual that are best compatiable with the Tektronix 465B. Those items are available in my other auctions. Also check our other auctions for an excellent B& K Signal Generator Model E-200D. It has not been used either. SHIPPING: Buyer pays shipping. Here's a very nice 2213A scope. Everything is working fine. This has a delayed sweep with excellent triggering. This will trigger on alternate sweeps as shown in the picture. The frequency response is very conservative and it's only about 6 db down at 100 Mhz. It triggers fine at 100 MHz. This includes the front cover. These newer Tek scopes are generally more reliable than their earlier scopes. Serial# B051119 Less than 1000 hours and under 350 power cycles All 4 channels are functional All voltage test points measure correctly A5 board has replaced electrolytic capacitors Slight damage to one of the air vents at the back. Visible in the pictures Missing one knob. Visible in the pictures When I received this scope it displayed the common Option-05 Error. I traced this to the leaking electrolytic capacitors on the A5 board. This is a very simple and very common problem with ... morethese scopes. I replaced the caps. Cleaned the board, and chose to also replace some of the SMD resistors and ceramic caps nearby that showed damage from the leaking caps. You can see the work in the very first close-up of the circuit board. Note that the cap at the other end of the A5 board was also replaced(not pictured) All of the power supply voltages measure correctly at the test point on the main board(I may update the listing with +/ percentages but I can't find my notes) I've put a lot of care into bringing this scope into operation. According to the Exerciser 05 test. It has less than 1000 hours of operation and under 350 power cycles(I've added a couple to the 320 number shown) but this number can be changed by the user so it may not be accurate. I have not changed it. However, I can tell you that the interior is spotless and all of the screws made that satisfying popping noise when I loosened them for the first time, indicating to me that this machine has never been opened. I cannot guarantee that I've fixed everything but it appears to be fully operational. I have not had it calibrated but it's spot on with the onboard reference signal(see pics)
