We opened the unit up and measured all power supply test points and we did not see any ripple that would indicate a failing component. The unit was pretty clean on the inside(see last 2 pics) Its last calibration was on 7/19/11. And we were the ones who removed the seals looking for the cause of the Fail++Acquisition. We do not have the style of probe required to test this unit any further. The S/N is B030347. Only what is listed above and/or shown in the pictures below are included in this auction. It was taken out of service almost 10 years ago and I recently dug it up out of my parts bin. This scope was taken out of service still operational. But the battery is definitely dead now. I tried charging it and it barely holds 1 minute of charge. the device can barely make it past self calibration before the battery goes flat. Unfortunately this scope won't work on just the adapter(the adapter is more of a trickle charger for the battery. this is really meant for portable operation) Because of this: I can't verify its operation right now. and its being sold as is.
