We were able to get traces on all 4 channels out to the full 300MHz. We found that about half of the adjustments and switches are'flaky' to some degree. Tektronix 2465 Oscilloscope WORKS PERFECTLY w/ 2x P6139A, HP 1160A, P6131 PROBES
Back in 2009 at MIT. I was given two Tek 2465's, none of which was working. I used the parts from one to make the other one working. I did a complete teardown and rebuild, and then thoroughly and carefully cleaned and calibrated the scope. I also serviced the fan(cleaned and re-lubricated the bearings) It has been my main and very trusted scope for these last four years now. I am very sad to let it go. But I am about to start grad school and need a way to pay it. This Tek 2465 is in EXCELLENT WORKING CONDITION. All functions and ranges are working and it has been calibrated to the best of the equipment available to me. I am including FOUR probes with a pouch and many add-ons(see pictures) TWO Tektronix 6139A in PERFECT condition. These are 500MHz probes. And have seen very little use. These go for ~$100 each on ebay. ONE HP 1160A working ... morePERFECT with the box and almost every accessory(see pic) Another 500MHz probe. The only small problem it has is that the top plastic shell is missing from the scope-end of the probe. This has no effect on the probe functioning. These go for ~$100-200 each on ebay. ONE Tek 6131A. working well but does have some scratch marks(doesn't affect the performance) I am including two replacement resistor tips. I am showing a picture of all four probes connected to the calibration output showing that all four channels work and all probes are compensated ok. Another picture shows all self tests are passed. I am also including the parts from the other 2465 scope. Main board. Digital boards, HV power supply, controls/knobs board, and a bag of screws. These boards contain all parts and haven't been"stripped" I believe most of them work fine. I believe I threw away the parts that were broken. Please message with any questions or for more pictures.
