The stirrer has a plug that would connect to a Cole Parmer speed control unit but unfortunately I don’t have that so I can’t test the thing. In the same lot was what looks like a homemade version of the same thing. Essentially a small electric motor with a stirring extension attached to the output shaft. Not much to look at but that one plugs into an AC outlet and does seem to work just fine. So for one low price you get both stirrers. The homemade job that I can say does work although you might need a Variac to control the speed, and the Cole Parmer that I cannot test. NO warranty is offered. However.
