Thanks for viewing this auction. Here is a great find. It is a 9 position magnetic stirrer. Model is Multi Stir 9, produced by Bellco Glass, Inc. Take a look at the pictures and judge this one for yourself. Comes to you in good physical condition. Stirrer powers up as indicated on the light on the front panel switch. Unit motor does not turn the magnets for some reason. All belts are present and intact. Manually turning the pulleys by hand turns all of the magnets in corresponding motion. I do not know if it is the motor speed control knob or motor? Magnets are very strong and unit is pretty clean inside and there is no burnt electronic smell from what I can tell. Maybe you can service this one yourself with a touch of cleaning or use it in conjunction with another to make a great 9 position unit. Bellco Glass Bell-Stir Multi-Stir 9 Position Magnetic Stirrer For sale- a Bellco Glass Bell-Stir Multi-Stir Nine Position Magnetic Stirrer. Catalog number 7760-00303, serial number 9PL-224. The stirrer is in good physical condition. But as you can see has some spots on the top surface. I would like to say that it works as is. But in fact it needs the belts that connect the motor to the stirrers replaced. I would do that myself but the belts(part number A500-745) are only $5.25 each and Bellco has a $50 minimum order. So even if you ordered a spare set you still are only up to a little over twenty bucks. But obviously Bellco Glass offers glass products as well. So if you needed a flask or two I am guessing it wouldn’t take long to cover the minimum requirement. So although I am offering it as Used. You know up front it will need the belts ... morereplaced. Won’t take more than ten minutes to pull the cover. Replace them, and put the cover back on. As is the motor runs but that’s it. If you turn one of the magnet assemblies by hand all the others turn as well so those belts appear to be fine. I will note that the motor doesn’t start turning until you get to about 3 on the knob. But in my experience that is pretty typical with stirrers. That is the extent of my testing and NO warranty is offered. However. IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it. Returns are ONLY allowed on Buy It Now Purchases.
